Monthly Update: Pengis 2!!! And other things

Pengis 2 is out!!! Watch it!!! Episode 3 is in the works, and after it is complete, you may notice that Pengis gets...a little weirder...but that's for later.
My computer has been officially wired for internet, so expect more streams later. I might even do one today, but today is particularly busy so at the very least I'll definitely do one tomorrow.
I'm not in the shrek retold 2 collab anymore, and the only reason I bring this up is because I don't want people asking me about it when it comes out. I don't want anything to do with those people.
I was considering doing a dumb merch idea. Khonjin House DVDs, but they are custom ordered with only the episodes you want on them. If anyone would like something like that I'll look into it.
I've been thinking long and hard about a live action sketch comedy series. I detailed it at some point before this post, but the thought was that I shouldn't make it until Supermental is done, and yet Supermental is forever in the ditch of hell. So I'm about to pull the trigger on the live action, but a certain Jon has become so incensed at Supermental's nonexistence that they have offered to work on it for free if I work on Pengis for free. It's an interesting deal...what do you guys think?
That's all of the internet stuff anyways. Real world hasn't been so good, I recently learned of enormous tragedy in my family that is too sensitive to discuss, but I've been grappling with it. Everyone will be fine, and it will pass, but it hasn't yet. In the face of it, all this online stuff means nothing. It is decades of pain and it has my full attention. Not that anyone would blame me for confronting this, but nothing else will have any urgency to me until it is resolved.
All these updates seem particularly somber, and I'm hoping that trend breaks soon. See you on the other side.

Pretty please like a proper blu ray release for proper achrive and for better qualiry than youtube. If it was one blu ray with the whole series on it, I could watch it like a movie and thatd be fuckin sick

I'd buy a DVD! Khonjin house had a big impact on my life, so I'd love to own a physical copy of it. And if someone's offering to help you work on Supermental, I'd jump on it if it were me.

Sorry about Shrek retold. What happened with it, if you can/even want to discuss it. I don't think it's a dumb merch idea! I'd definitely buy DVDs if you made one. I'd want the bonus content/unedited episodes though. Directors commentary and all that jazz though. Would really make it feel all official you know? I feel if you did do the DVDS, it couldn't just be something small? Like it would have to be a big deal and something that feels all collectable and like it really captures the spirit? You know? I think it's a good idea, but keep your energy levels in mind. I'm not sure how much you do for Supermental that needs a lot of active attention 24/7. I know you're the writer/director and would have to oversee everyone, since it's your project. Once its written though, that part is pretty much over. The energy required is important but would more fall under passive attention. An animator or something else is more active attention, because you'd have to keep going back, tweaking it, drawing every frame etc. So keep that in mind if you and also John can handle both. If your role as the creator is more passive attention, then yeah do both. If it's more active, ya gotta bear the energy levels in mind. (To be clear, I just wanna restate: passive/active doesn't mean I'm saying "You aren't doing any work, Khonjin.". It's the nature of the role I'm describing. Writer=more one and done. Animator=Requires a lot more going in there even after the script is finished) If what you do on both is more one and done/passive then yeah. Definitely do both! Pengis baffled me but made me laugh, and Supermental is obviously something I'm excited about as well. You've been banging the drum on live action for a long time! I think you should honestly just do it no matter what choices you make on Supermental/Pengis. It seems like it would make you really happy. You've brought it up in previous updates. Just do it. You don't have to wait until those are done. Just remember the amount of work/time you can put in. As long as you don't spread your energy too thin and aren't doing a lot of active work, you should be able to just fine. I'd enjoy it and wouldn't be upset~. I understand with the family stuff. Family is family. Take your time, we understand and will wait for you! At least I will~. When I make a lot more money I'd like to give more to the patreon actually! Not less. So yeah. That's rough, I'm sorry it's something so enormous. I hope you're OK and get through it OK. We're here for you! See you soon!
