Just wanted to show everyone a bit more of how much I appreciate your support, specially for those who have supported me since day one! I present to you the maintenance car which obviously is used for checking and maintaining the rails.
And also I have also decided to provide an alternative design which is the ability to convert the train back to the more traditional style of rail on the ground instead of on top of the train. There are also two types of stairs to get onto the train using the ground rail.

On balance I prefer the multi-colour. My eyesight isn't 100% perfect and I find multi-colour renders easier to interpret than monotone, frequently drab colours.

I like both. The multicolor renders is a great way to give suggestions on how everything might be painted. The single color renders (in grey?) are a good way to show *ALL* the detail a part might have. Sometimes glow effects obscure detail, but gives a good "feel" of what a part might be intended for (illuminated signage, etc).

quick question for all, is it better to render the design in single color or with colors and light effect? I notice a lot of designers prefer to use single color which seem to show the model better in terms of details etc. What do you guys think?

Nice, thanks, and have a great Christmas yourself. Looks like it wouldn't take too much work to convert into a caravan - something to shoot with an RPG when you are stuck behind one on the highway.
