Old Kyoto update
🕑 Added 2023-06-25 15:19:47 +0000 UTCHappy Sunday! Another update on the Old Kyoto project, I think the exterior is mostly done so I will start working on the interior for each building next week!
Do let me know if there's anything Japanese or specifically Kyoto related I could add and I will see what I can do!
What you see here will be in the core set when I launch on Kickstarter sometime in August/September (tentative).
Note: for the next 3 releases for the Sato Heavy Industries, I will be including the pieces diagrams for the entire set. So don't panic if you don't see the some pieces as you will get them all eventually 3 parts.

i actually looked at kinkakuji before, will see what i can do. I'm actually more interested in having this building wrapped around body of water :)

Well, Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) is one of Kyoto's most famous monuments and I would guess it could survive even in cyber age, possibly with some small changes here and there on the building itself or perhaps around the garden which is surrounding it :) And of course some big Toori gate or maybe some Pagoda stylized building with 2 or 3 floors would also add to that traditional feel :)
