And it's time to play our special holiday game - House of Screams!
I love you, guys, for playing and following my game and art, I really do. So around a month ago I told myself: dude, let's make something special this Halloween for all fine folks who are enjoying and supporting your creations. And that's how a new horror game about sexy housemaids smashing monsters has come to life! :D
House of Screams is a Halloween spin-off of our original visual novel "House of Maids", which means that you'll meet a lot of familiar faces and boobs. :) The game is based on a different engine and provides additional gameplay features. House of Screams is a complete game, you can go through it from start to finish in an hour or so. It has some challenging monster fights, but not Dark Souls level of challenge, if you know what I mean. ;)
Below you'll find some useful information about the game, and I strongly suggest you to read it before playing. Inside the game directory, you can also find the "readme" file, which explains game control keys. Basic control keys are also explained in the tutorial at the beginning of the game. No installation is required, just unzip the attached archive and click on "House of Maids.exe" icon. The game is PC version only.
Gameplay features:
- jRPG gameplay with 3D exploration and 2D turn-based battles;
- player can switch between third person or first person camera;
- looting system for armor, weapons, consumable items and secrets;
- skills system for monsters, bosses, player and party members;
- an unlockable secret weapon.
Lewd content:
- gather three sexy housemaids for you party;
- unlock five topless scenes;
- unlock six bedroom scenes;
- unique slave girl character;
Tips:
- every party member has a role and unique skills: PLAYER is the tank and can revive fallen members; Sofia - healer/buffer, Vicky - damage dealer/debuffer, Slavegirl - AOE damage dealer;
- check every corner and boxes for loot;
- different armor and weapons provide different stats and bonuses to party members;
- use beds for recovering, and Save more often;
- read skill descriptions to know what they're doing;
- at level 13 (max level) you and your companions unlock most powerful skills, which greatly help to defeat the final boss;
- bosses can self heal or steal health from party members;
- for a more challenging experience, you may add or remove party members at any moment.
Early Access version of the game has been provided to Producers several days ago, and certain improvements have been made to the final game build:
- added two comic splash screens with Sofia and Vicky;
- added new dialogue in the Treasury room;
- added more detailed spells descriptions;
- added more music tracks for battles;
- changed location of the slave girl.
