The age of a character is determined by the writer in my eyes so what they say is what I go by. I've looked it up myself. Her age comes with the citation that her appearance is that of a 14 year old but she's biologically ""28"". So basically She's still 14.

They LITERALLY did already. She is 28 (!) in Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.33. So just because the writers say she's an adult, doesnt mean she is?

Sure she could age. But the writers of neon genesis have yet to make her do so. And just because you say she's an adult doesn't mean she is.

Did you not see what Aroma has written here? She is an adult and not a child. There are many adults who are considered to be much younger than they actually are. For example, when I was 18, I sometimes had to show my ID when I wanted to buy beer because I was thought to be 15.
