Not celebrating Halloween - what we have here is All Souls' Day on 2 November - so I'll travel to put some candle and flowers on my dad's grave. It's across the country, so I always book a hotel room in a nearby spa town and relax for a few days, write so short stories for literary competitions and have at least one fancy dinner.

We will be handing out candy - my neighborhood doesn’t get trick or treaters so we go to my sister’s house and she has a small party—music, games in her driveway for the kids, maybe a movie on in the background. Their neighbors go WAY hard into decorating—I mean multiple of the giant Home Depot skeletons just on her road
