Marvel vs Capcom might have some difference of opinion on this matchup, but yes, still hot. My headcanon is as strong as Haggar is, Ares literally feeds off the power and masculinity of someone like Haggar. The stronger Haggar is, the stronger he makes Ares himself (and makes Ares that much more into it).
