Honestly its up to you doc. When you have a story line set up, then follow your story till its done, but if all you have time and inspiration for is the gags, then do the gags. We will always be here for you and the comic. We all love however you choose to do things. If you need a break for a while then take your break and come back fresh and new. If you have time, i Recommend watching Nostalgia Critic's : The Review Must Go On. It gives a little insight into how a man was burned out and needed a break from his biggest project and came back to it refreshed after a break period. We will all be here to read the comic No matter how you choose to do things. We just don't want to see you burn out. We love ya Doc.

Storyline for the comic, hands down. It's why I love the comic. I love seeing glimpses of everyday life, and the fleshing out of the characters. It's also what makes the NSFW art so appealing, the girls aren't some randoms drawn for their own sake. They feel more 'real'. It's like the beautiful girl you know at the office decided to pose for Playboy or Maxim. I definitely second the Sandy on silk idea. I would really like to see more NSFW art, especially in the style of the Pirta pinup and the Sandy on silk. Your art in that style is greatly improving, and I for one would welcome the opportunity to enjoy regular examples of it.

I like the plot driven stuff personally. The gags are fun but can be over done in my opinion. Art wise whatever gets the creative juices flowing I suppose. Would be interesting to see some blue prints of docs inventions

Givwn how often we see Jinx with his nose in a book, it might be entertaining to see him at the library, checking out a fresh stack of books and completely missing the fact that he's in the Unseen University's library, with the Librarian behind the desk. I want to see your take on an orangutan in a wizard robe, Doc. *grin* And that probably answers your 'gag a day' idea, too...

I'm fine with the comic as is, personally i'd like to see the Sandy on satin picture finished.

Wild Card

Daily gags are fine. You can even do a 2 day long gag, like the first two strips with the creation of the coffeemaker on wheels then the strip after it, things could have been left there.

Sleepy John

I enjoy the daily gags, because there are days when a punch line is all you need. The story lines are where the characters develop and gain the attributes that make the dailies work. So, steady as she goes.

a run of gag's are quit acceptable while building a story line. cheesecake is welcome, but would have to quit reading at work during lunch if the comic itself got any actual NSFW

I like all kinds of content, both long and short storylines and single-shot gags. So I hope to see more of all of those. And I vote for showing Jinx, having his first own tinkering accident.
