I love how they're dealing with Hanks PTSD and Anxiety attacks, that's not gonna end well. Props to Jessie for trying to make something of himself, albeit illegally.

I can't remember if it's explained exactly how Jesse got into this life, but I imagine he probably just fell in with the wrong people in high school, and things escalated. Focusing on drugs instead of his education, falling out with his parents, etc. You know, some kids get really self-destructive around that age.
