It's interesting because the reason Nate originally liked Maddy is because he thought she was innocent and a virgin.... pure. He thought he could control her, which granted he did to an extent, but at the end of the day they both have 'alpha' personalities and they just clash. Now he sees Cassie whose not innocent but she's very naive and sensitive (and kinda getting on my last nerve this season but I digress) and now he sees a new prey to hunt after and 'protect' 🙄✋
