Pain / AMA questions in the meantime / Mac archive of SFM content

There's a pain in my left (non-dominant) hand, which I use as my primary hand for 3D stuff (fucked up my right hand years ago doing 3D / bad day job ergonomics). The wrist pain is so bad, I can't even scrap to porn. So I can't guarantee anything gets done this weekend. It'll be the same gauntlet next week, and the week after that, and probably the week after that. 24 year old me would have worked through the injury, but that was 8 years ago when I thought I was invincible. I learned the hard way that I wasn't. In the meantime, I have an AMA I threw out early last week. I haven't answered anyone's questions related to it, but while it's still ongoing, you can add to it. I'm sure someone has something crude, or intelligent, or mundane they'd like to ask. About 3D, about me, or not. It'll be the last one I do for a long while, so if you feel the need to relay something - pm or comment. That vast majority of followers and fans from what I can tell are PC users. For Mac users, you're kind of left in the dust. The one workaround I can think of would be uploading my archive to a place like Mega and having a brief period of time to keep it up there. Message me if you're a Mac user in need of this. I use 7zip, which Mac doesn't use to my knowledge, but there should be other software that replicates the same tasks as 7zip (WinRar or other tools).

Right on. I've done therapy before and I've applied techniques and such since then to ensure long-term activity is as manageable as I can make it. I won't be tapping out of 3D. ;)

This operation was also the hope and at the same time the fear of the internist I mentioned. But that was also about 5 years ago. Medicine doesn't stand still either. Maybe there are better possibilities for therapy in the meantime.

Thanks for the concern. It started as simple RSI, then transformed into full-blown carpal tunnel. Hence why since late 2014 I've primarily been using a mouse with my non-dominant hand. Even that after a while takes its toll, especially with a job that requires lots of hand use. Surgery is available but not something I'd want to doll out when it can still cause problems.
Yes I need it. Hope you feel much better. I purchase winzip for Apple Mac Mini. It's working with mega.nz.

Get well soon, Ozzy. I really hope you get a cure or at least some relief. This is always difficult with joint problems because worn cartilage is slow to rebuild or bones don't really regenerate. In most cases, there is nothing left but to protect the affected areas. I must confess that when I met you I didn't really take your complaints seriously, but thought that you were exaggerating. Years ago I met an internist who suffered from it himself. And if not even a man from the field knows a (simple) solution to his own problem...? So again, I really hope that despite everything, you'll get better one day.
