The Pill Conversion Update #4

The core game 1-5 has been built (with the new voices) and the standard functions have been tested. Massive thanks to Lady Grove and our developer Valkern for making that come to life!
I've spent the last few weeks remaking the Luca vids, remaking the achievements and building all the expressions for Chapter 6. While I was doing that, Lady Grove finished coding the bones of Chapter 6, and is now busy re-testing all the final bits of chapter 1-5 with the new achievements (and doing a general polish). Meanwhile I'm on to the sound design for Chapter 6.
Still a long way to go, but I'm quietly optimistic for our release at the end of the month!

That is the end goal for sure and will likely happen in a future update. They are good animations so be fun to have them appear.

Is there any chance you can add the finished ending animations to the end of the appropriate chapters? It would be so nice to see the ending to the path you just played through. If not, no worries, but if you could, would you?

Thank you for the kind words but I'm afraid there is no new belly expansion content in Chapter 6.

That's very kind and I hear ya. LG has developed a special look in her eye when I say "I had this new idea we can add in!" that equates to "Oh no you fucking didn't!" But seriously I appreciate the understanding.

This is the correct take. Imagine the progress bars of chapters 1-5 being zoomed in on the very last stage. I felt it was worth changing the graphic because it's a different headspace - previously it was a pure re-creation of The Pill, but now we've got the final code from our developer we can start reworking elements (such as the achievement images and some menu images etc). Basically if this was only a pure remake of v0.6 then that is already done and we'd be releasing. It's the stuff we're updating which needs re-testing.

I am fairly sure that, since they're all finished, they're only counting that final two steps for them, just the achievement images and the final testing for the final build. Based on the optimism behind the release being in track (and the lack of their inclusion in the OG posts like this), they gotta be pretty confident these steps won't take too long
