The two suggestions that inspired these pieces were:
-"Continuation of the Dev/Jess mummy piece"
and
-"Jess forgets about Halloween, and makes a last-minute ghost costume by cutting eyeholes out of a sheet. Maybe it's not long enough to cover everything..."
I had fun spring-boarding off of both of these! And I am looking forward to doing more. I hope you dig 'em!
I also got one other suggestion that I have already used:
-"Vulfie judging sexy werewolf costumes that other S&F characters are wearing."
But the resulting piece wound up being safe-for-work, so I used it as part of a regular S&F update. You can see it at the link there! Maybe I will do a follow-up that is more "Saucy Hippo-y"...

Hi Michal, I spent a very long time writing a very long, very thoughtful response to this comment! It was many paragraphs long. Then I hit "reply" and I swear to god, Patreon just did not post it and it completely disappeared. I am losing my mind. I can't bring myself to write it all again, so I guess the short version is: thanks very much for your support and help over the years! Different people love different things, and it's impossible for me to be everything to everyone, so I just focus on making the best work I can make. I like my long stories and I like my gag comics, and I am very lucky that both have their fans. There will be more of both in the future! (Even though I can't crank 'em out at quite the same speed that I could when I was younger, hah)

Not sure if you're interested in feedback but I'm also not sure if cancellation survey responses are shared with you so I'm adding it here. Feel free to remove it after reading it :) I'm afraid I'll have to trail off and drop your Patreon and the comic. I was one of the first Saucy Hippo subscribers and you may remember me helping you a bit with website issues (you're still free to @ me in the future on that, I'm always happy to help!). I mostly subscribed to Saucy because I'm a huge fan of seeing folks and characters I know from "regular" situations in a NSFW context. It worked well while the main story of the comic was still fresh in my memory but... uh, there's no way of saying this nicely so apologies in advance but for me personally switching from the long, epic, grand long story format to three weekly gags and random comics has been... less than ideal. I totally understand you need your creative freedom but we're also I think almost two years? since Fidigital story that never went anywhere and all I'm seeing are art pieces and random gag strips. I miss the old S&F with strong, rich universe and fun, engaging characters. I was hoping at some point you'll be back to storytelling but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case and that was what hooked me to your stories. I hope you'll continue to have fun with your work and maybe at some point you'll go back to writing longer plots and invest yourself with building new, interesting characters but I just can't wait any longer and checking your comic three times per week does not bring me the joy I've been looking for for quite a long time. I wish you all the best, sincerely and honestly π
