Final Credits Reading Coming Up!

As I've mentioned previously, I have decided to change one of my backer rewards. I'm never going to stop being grateful for every single one of you, but the (current) reward for $10 patrons, where I read out your names in the credits, threatens to really add a long tail to videos, and I've been putting off officially changing this for far too long.
So the next video, which is about Pathologic, is going to be the final time I read $10 patrons' names out in the credits. I'm closing in on completing the video (the script is 28,000 words long oh my god), so I wanted everyone to have the heads-up that if you want your name read out a certain way, or would rather I didn't at all, or have a preferred name from your patreon username, please leave a comment here for me letting me know. I'll upload a test-reading of the credits for you all to listen through and check before the final video goes up as well.
After this video, I'm changing over to a new system where people who back me $10 or more can vote from shortlists, to pick which video is going to come next. Patreon has a poll function, I think. I've been thinking a lot about how this would affect my work, and in my opinion, at this point I need the direction. I love making videos too much, the process makes me feel alive, so I do it indiscriminately and ineffectively. I have too many things I want to make at once, and being told directly by supporters what they want the most seems more useful to me than continuing to follow my impulses, half-finishing or throwing out work I change my mind on making, and discovering I only finished one thing in two months, and so on.
I'm also going to start maintaining an official list of videos patrons have requested or shown an interest in, so I can keep track of everything and have a solid list to pick from for people to vote on. If you're not a $10 patron I still listen to your suggestions, obviously, this is just to give people who've backed me that much something in return for a reward I can no longer give. What ends up on that poll is based on how everyone seems to be leaning, and my own opinions of course lol.
If you have ideas for other backer rewards or perhaps more tiers with other things you'd like, let me know. I've got some bts material for the Pathologic video coming up, I made about a hundred pages of notes while recording and researching the game, and wanna show off all the effort I put into this nightmarishly long video about a 2005 russian art game.

I'm actually not sure how to explain how to pronounce my name lol. It's like "Reajder", where "ea" is the same as in "early" and "Delnavaz" looks like the Spanish name, but isn't. It's more like "del na vaas" I guess. I'm sure you'll do your best, people have been mispronouncing my name all my life anyway 🤣

Oh, I did sneak into at least one video credits, nice! I was going to leave it at my patreon name, but perhaps the occasion is worth making your life a bit more difficult. Instead of Allthief, use Althjofr Alth with an open A sound + l, followed by a th ending. Think the name "Al" (instead of "All") finished like "path". Jofr like you would say the name Geoff, without pronouncing the e, so sort of like jaw-frrrr. Al - th - jaw - fr Thanks for all, Bomber Guy.

I'm not a $10 backer, but if you still want to make them stand out in the credits for your videos since you don't want to read their names out loud anymore, another solution I propose (on top of letting them answer polls for you of course) is to highlight their names in the credits, or to clearly signal them in a separate category, like "And here are the $10 backers!" followed by their names and such. The polls definitely interest me but my budget is tight right now, hopefully when I have more money I can afford to upgrade. Cheers!
