I have been absent this month, and I’m really sorry for that. When did it suddenly become the 30th, and why haven’t I had time to draw anything for my patrons T__T??
I’m working very hard right now on my graphic novel HEARTACHE, and I was able to turn in the first pass of sketches earlier week. It’s SUCH a relief to be done with that initial pass. For me, the hardest part of any piece of creative work is the ideas—it’s the sketching phase, the part where you have to conjure something seemingly from nothing. I find initial sketches incredibly taxing, but I’m very pleased with how the book is starting to take shape! For the first time since I started working on this, it’s looking and feeling like a graphic novel. I’m very proud of it so far!
I don’t have anything smutty to share with you, but I thought I’d share this spoiler-free segment from the book. The Magic Shop is one of the central locations in the story, and this is where we get our first glimpses of it, the world that pulls the POV character Jack from the dreary life she leads and into something that truly feels like a home.
I’m in the middle of doing this kind of treatment to all of my pages in order to send it to my editors. If any of you are interested in beta-reading this story after the text has been added, please DM me. You’ll get a unique first glimpse at the book, and my eternal gratitude!

I really like this so far! I'm a big fan of the continuity of movement on 45 in how it moves up the stairs and I particularly like the compositions on 41 and 42, really strong use of paneling I think. As an editorial note, you have spelling mistakes on 48.5: "scarry" instead of scary 41.3: "it'st" should be "it's" 37.5: "familairs" instead of "familiars" Hope that helps! Looking forward to more 😁 I apologize if this was presumptive, I figured since you asked about editing it could help a little bit.
