Without you remains one of my favorite Mariah songs of all time. It’s a cover but she really made it her own. So stunning live.

Consider watching an iconic performance of her 94 duet w Luther Vandross. Otherwise you will skip over it. https://youtu.be/Nu9RVPTpDyA?si=mBxhwR78rM2MHiLx

For the live performance during Music Box era you really need to watch her Live At Proctor's Theatre 1993 https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLX1BJy3Nt0tB9W4l2JopcmJ4d0pS1ZltD&si=R1eV-x20EfRw7zgQ

Up next is her holiday album Merry Christmas. I guess u will celebrate it as soon as you hear the album 😁😆 and let me predict your favourite song on the album would be "Miss You Most ( At Christmas Time )" 😉

Music Box isn’t her best seller for no reason! Beautiful ballads galore lol After MTV Unplugged and doing I’ll Be There, Mariah started doing one cover per album (for the most part) so if she isn’t credited, it’s either a holiday song or a cover haha I love that you’re a “I’ve Been Thinking About You” lamb, but I think I enjoy “Now That I Know” more haha Music Box came out in 1993 btw :) next studio album, (not including Merry Christmas which was in 1994), Daydream came out in 1995. Dreamlover, Hero, AYNAF, and Without You were the singles from this album so those will be great live performances to watch!

Mariah has actually talked about that in interviews before, she writes lyrics that relate to her and things that she went through, but not too specifically so that the songs can relate to a large audience.
