Randomly stumbled on this. Just wanted to clarify on Morissette. As far as newer-ish (lol?) singers during her time (she's still active now, but peak was prob a few years ago), she was easily a top 3 vocalist. Maybe even #1. I'm talking about just vocals. Even all time in Ph. She's top 10. Strong argument for top 5. Even top 3. She wasn't crowned Asia's Phoenix for no reason. That chat comment "she's popular, but not popular popular" triggered me lol. And I know they probably meant no disrespect. But yeah sure that statement is true now. But during her time? She was popular popular. In Ph and internationally. Even Korea, where she was invited to shows. Her 2 performances in Korea are legendary. Yes she's a solo artist, but in a way she was also Bini before Bini. As far as online goes and the reaction community. Anyways, that's my rant. Love Mori too. Oh and Bini are big fans too. They don't mention her often when talking about their idols, cause she's only a bit older than them. But they've covered her songs and have mentioned it in the past as well.
