Do yourself a favor, don't go back and re-read "Dark Knight Returns." Or maybe do. It, ahm, does NOT hold up as a cover-to-cover read like one might assume. A lot more Zack Snyder in that book than we al remembered. Speaking of whom, I think there's this mental block in the heads of filmmakers around this time around adapting a comic book. There's so much lip service paid to the medium, but it really seems like the creators have little-to-no respect for it. They're more concerned perfectly re-creating panels than getting to the heart and soul of the actual characters. Lads i don’t wanna upset you, but i feel like it’s inevitable that Fan4stic will need to be covered. It is maybe best to wait until the new one is about to come out, just so you can put it out when Fantastic Four is hot in the algorithm. But oh boy i pity you😭

I am loving this run of ‘awful’ Super Hero movies, but the idea of seeing you guys sit through some of those Transformers movies brings me a twisted joy. And hearing Laurie is a big fan of the non-film franchise … I really hope you he can GET ON BOARD for a 3 person episode.

My brother always describes Daredevil as "the Highlander 2 of superhero films" after watching it's Director Cut. I'm gonna enjoy this 4 hours and then enjoy what film Oli has decided on next to avoid Mario Bros!
