We have a release date for the Legions Audiobook. 21st of April, 2026! I heard that it was likely going to be in April but didn't want to share the news until I had a concrete date. Apparently, the pre-order went live before I heard about it. I found out about it over on my Discord.
So, this week we've got six chapters. I wanted to get a few things sorted out before we hit the key plot in the Darwin Cruises, and I think you'll see where I was going with it. I'm still finding the ending of the story, so bear with me for the next week. If we don't have it finished by next Monday, there could be some late chapter uploads in or around the 19th / 20th of December.
I tried a few different approaches, but landed on one that I enjoyed and felt comfortable with. Anyways, as always, please let me know what you think. I've been pulling late nights and it's 6:30am in Ireland, so I didn't want to leave you guys waiting for hours while I was sleeping.

This is a general comment about an inconsistency I’m finding as I’m rereading the series: up until Sal meets Fabi he notices the attractive women around him, but after their first meeting at the gala, he never mentions feeling attracted to any of the women around him. Maybe he is attracted to Fabi and Divinity, and after the mess with Hannah he’s avoiding the whole issue? It would be nice to have a line or two of explanation, as the change is a bit jarring.

The term is 6 months and even with time skips we are at best a little over 2 months in what is that talk about 1 month left? Even the warzone module was said to take 2-3 months to finish at most so we are far from 4 months or sal would already have evolved mythcrafter

Well remembered, I completely forgot about the downsides of Maxine's abilities. I think I just mentally hand waved a lot of issues due to her weave upgrade. I am waiting for the mythic upgrade to the training grounds with illusionary scenarios. Perhaps Sal could build a healing totem and time dilation field into it?

Ok great lead in chapters especially the training. But about that how could everyone train with the time effects on and not suffer the adverse effects like when Sal was crafting the sword? Also minor point but was a little underwhelmed by the gear. It’s all stealth with no real offensive or defensive functions. Kind of a one time use and only if everything goes great kind of choice. Not really up to mythic standards lol

I have a weird question. In book 2 blathnaid says something to the effect of when starting general patterns you aim for the norm instead of someone tall like him. He never really makes note of heights except the one guy was well over 6 feet tall, erika is tall and maxine was fairly tall. I guess occasionally theyre squat like fuck face. How tall is Sal?

Good stuff, enjoyed the new chapters. Only real problem I had with em was Chapter 78. Sal talks about not wearing a bulletproof vest around people with a gun, and being fine with Erica not using the locket.... But Sal IS wearing a Psy proof item, because the dude has a bunch of shit that Erica doesn't need to know about. He mentioned his (I can't remember if it was a hair clip, or circlet) protection 2 or 3 times in Loyalists.
