October Newsletter Podcast!
🕑 Added 2020-10-01 04:16:02 +0000 UTCFor your listening pleasure, in case you don't care to read very much, or just wanted some bonus content! It's a very casual chat, covering some cool poetic song lyrics that really got me jazzed, information on being new to an illustration agency, "cuffing season", various random bits I threw in at the end, and some shout-outs. Put it on in the background while you're doing something else, to keep you company :-D
Happy October my friends! Let me know what you're up to.

Madeline! This made my whole day, week and perhaps month to read! I'm really happy that this kept you company, and that you can understand the single-and-busy-but-longing-a-bit mentality. Please know how much it means to me that my work and content is being appreciated by art students, seeing as I just was one not 6 months ago. Tell everyone how freakin humbled I am to know that.

Jamie, I hope your day is treating you well! I’m only patrons of two artists (you included) and recently I’ve been forgetting about all the amazing content I have access to, which is a shame because it brightens my day so much. Listening to this made me so calm and like I was listening to a friends audio messages. I’m working on my illustration thesis and single so its ok because I’m super busy... but you’re right sometimes it would be nice. And I want to tell you, that a bunch of senior illustration students at Massart all the way in Boston love your work so much and are inspired by your art, work ethic, style and approach, and thank you for sharing what you do with us. 💕

arriving here late but gosh I love this little podcast!! at the moment I'm working on a frustrating art project but this helped bring back some good good vibes. I loved the lil section on cuffing season, my bird brain has been full of nothing but falltime romance yearnings lately but!! I've got a lot to work on so I will do my very best to uhhhhhh. handcuff myself. <3

This pod kept me company while unpacking 🥰 I’ve been single for a few years now & cuffing season always hits a little hard.. it’s the coziness of everything! I don’t listen to much asmr but your voice gives me the asmr ~vibes~

I am out and about running errands while listening to this months podcast, and at the end you say my name and talk about my comment and I just start absolutely crying. I’m so happy to be a member of your Patreon community. And just so you know, that the soup of my choice is absolutely tomato soup. It may be plain, but it is good for the soul. Listening to your podcast while running errands feels very nice. Feels like I’m hanging out with a friend who has great vibes, gives great advice, and just makes everything feel a little easier. My goal for the month of October is to work on handling the stress of school and just life better. I also want to really dive into the Halloween season, have fun with it, focus on the good feeling of the holidays rather than the pandemic and quarantine. This book is not a classic but it’s my all time favorite. It’s called The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. It’s about magic and historical fiction and a circus and I always just sink right into the world. Also, I would love if you made a discord chat for all of us! I hope you have a lovely day Jamie 🥰

Dracula is sooooo good. tbh, if you read both Dracula and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde through a ~*queer*..~ lens it makes them sooo interesting and really shines a light on the Victorian people’s fears and desires. Also Jane Eyre is fire literally my favorite book.
