ACTION REQUIRED! New Single Tier: 🌲EVERGREEN🌲
🕑 Added 2021-05-25 14:13:06 +0000 UTCHello Seeds, Saplings and Harvesters. Next month, we set up camp as one big singular tier family: EVERGREEN! This is a tree that has foliage all year round--something I have been comforted by lately.
Just like the original inspiration for the tier mascots/names, today's announcement involves evolution and growth. If you haven't already watched this video from my previous post, I recommend it! I explain in depth why I have decided to change the way things work here. In short, when I first started patreon I was in a different place in my life. But with freelance picking up and life becoming increasingly busy, I wanted to let patreon change with that. There will be changes with the content, which I'll describe below so you know what you're in for. But first!
**The biggest change, and the one you will need to take action with is editing your membership! This is very easy. Below are the steps you will need to switch over to the new, single $5 EVERGREEN tier!**

You MUST switch your tier in order to stay subscribed to me here on patreon! You have until June 3rd to make this change.

What will this new tier include? What is being cut out? What is changing?
Mainly, I am trimming the content down and removing the "structured format" that I had before. Instead of offering a set number of things that do not change from month to month, it will be more of a place for me to put out content sporadically like blog posts on my book work as I make it, occasional podcasts in both audio and video format on life/work/the publishing world, livestreams with Q&As, works in progress, and of course, secret sketches! Since my life very heavily focuses on book illustration now, I'd love to provide more accessible information on that. Basically expect a lot of behind-the-scenes! ✨
I am doing away with the printables, heavily-edited videos on step-by-steps (this kind of content will be moved to my public youtube if you are still interested in that!), and species shout-outs.

I would like to thank you so much for your patience and willingness to change and grow as a group. I never thought I would have such a warm and welcoming community here on this platform, but everyone has shown such a bright kindness and enthusiasm for whatever comes next. If this change is too jarring and you choose to leave, I completely understand. I would appreciate you sticking around for the journey if you can/want to!
I have a lot more to share with you in this new and unexplored evergreen forest.

Hi Anna! This morning I sent out this message to everyone who has already made this switch to Evergreen: You may or may not have just been ambushed with notifications (I'm not sure how patreon works on your end with this) but I just edited *ALL* of the Seeds and Sapling posts to be available here on the Evergreen tier! So if you were previously a Seeds patron--surprise!--you now have access to a ton of new stuff you've never seen from September 2020-April 2021. If you were previously a Sapling or Harvest patron, you've already seen all this content. The only thing will be disappearing on June 3rd is the HARVEST TIER content. **All the tiers will be disappearing besides Evergreen!** It's just that the only content that will no longer be visible is the printables and wallpapers. I'm doing this to be fair to the folks who paid $12 for those previous months. I know a few folks switched to the harvest tier to grab all those printable files and then downgraded to Evergreen--that's totally okay too! Just as long as you are Evergreen by June 3rd, when the other tiers go away. Phew--I know that was a lot.

Hi Emma, so I did some reading which can be found on this page here https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000126286-How-do-I-edit-my-membership-#h_01EPWHKK1SNHHT4YQNPH45YQGT and I believe that Patreon does not have a very smooth option for annual members. I think the best course of action is that I personally paypal/venmo refund you the amount that you had left to pay for the rest of the year, you cancel your membership with that tier, and rejoin in the new tier. I am doing away with annual membership offers for this new tier as well, just in case something like this happens again. I hope that all makes sense, let me know if you have more questions! Go ahead and send me a private message with how you would prefer to receive your refund.
