Working for a Boutique - Part 6

Ms. LaRue took me to a really wonderful restaurant, just up the street from the Boutique. I told her that I totally appreciated everything she has done for me, and didn’t know the words to thank her.
“Danielle, I think of you as the daughter I never had, since I was always so focused on my career. I enjoy having you at my home, and I think we will get along just famously.”
I thought to myself, but I am a boy. I smiled at her and thanked her again for her kindness towards me. I started talking about the doctor’s appointment and that the nurse referred to me as Danielle LaRue.
“Don’t worry about that Danielle, it was easier to make a quick appointment for you if I told them you were a family member.”
I also asked Ms. LaRue about the prescriptions. Again, she told me not to worry since I was under a lot of stress due to the fire; the prescriptions were supplements and anti-depression drugs so I wouldn’t get into a funk over what happened. She told me she would pick them up on the way home, and I could start taking them later today.
She also asked me how I felt about becoming a maid for her at home. I replied that it didn’t bother me, the work was easy, and I really needed the money. She smiled, and we both ordered lunch when the waitress came by.
Ms. LaRue continued and told me that my duties would change slightly at the store. I would still be involved with restocking the merchandise, but I would also be out on the floor helping customers. I told her that I didn’t know if I was qualified to advise women on what they should wear. She told me just to use my feelings and if I liked something to tell them; if not, try to give them a different dress to try on. I thought that sounded reasonable and told her I would give it my best effort.
We walked back towards the boutique after lunch, and Ms. LaRue told me to make friends with the other girls in the store. She said they are all quite friendly and are all happy to see you in a dress. I wondered why that was the case, but I decided not to go there and just nodded to her.
We returned to the store, and Ms. LaRue told me she would see me back at home later, so I thanked her again and walked into the store. I saw Jackie, Betty, and Shirley chatting together on the floor, walked over, and said Hi. They came around me, and all gave me a hug and told me they were proud of me and happy to work with me. I blushed and told them I was happy they accepted me. (As I was a boy wearing a dress.) They told me that sometimes they went out evenings together and asked me if I would like to go along. I asked which days? And they said usually on a Friday night. I told them since I was staying with Ms. LaRue, I would need to ask her if this was ok and would get back to them.
Madge saw me and beckoned me over to the beauty salon. I walked over to her and said hi.
Danielle, Ms. LaRue asked me to do something more permanent with your hair, so you won’t have to wear a wig, and to give you a bit of a makeover while I was at it. Please follow me into the salon.
I sat on one of the salon chairs, and Madge removed my wig. She unclipped my hair which was tied up under the wig cap. She said, not to worry, Danielle, you will look great after I am done. She washed my hair and then put some foil wraps around parts of my hair and told me I was getting a few highlights to make my hair pop. I sat with these on for a while, and then she removed them and rinsed my hair again. I could already see the difference with the highlights, and she then trimmed my hair to even things out and started wrapping pieces of my hair in paper and wrapping it in rollers that were then pinned on my head. She ended by applying a really smelly solution to the rollers and pulled a bonnet over my head, and I waited some more time. She came by every few minutes to check on my hair. When she was satisfied, she removed the bonnet and leaned my head back into the sink, and rinsed my hair, still in the rollers for a few minutes. Then she brought me over to one of the hairdryers and gave me a few magazines to read, and started the dryer.
After my hair was dry, she brought me back to the chair and removed the rollers and papers from my hair. She then brushed it out into a really nice wavy style that fell to my shoulders. I was admiring it in the mirror when she walked up to me and held a device up to my ear. She said to stay still, and I heard a click and felt a small jab to my earlobe. She repeated it again and then walked over to my other ear and repeated the procedure. I was left with two sparkly studs in each ear. I was thinking to myself, I should be angry at Madge for doing this, but for some reason, I smiled and just told her they look stunning. I thought to myself, why do I like them so much?
Madge then worked on my eyebrows, plucking them out, and I yelped a bit.
She said, “Don’t be such a baby; women do this all the time.” She then looked at my nails and said, “Let’s do something that is a bit more permanent.”
She brought out a set of acrylic salon nails and, using an adhesive, bonded them to my nails. She then took out a really nice shade of pink and colored the nails. She looked down at my feet and told me to remove my stockings. I pulled them off, and she cleaned and buffed my toenails and applied the same polish and topcoat to them as well.
“Now, your feet will look great when you wear any open-toe shoes.”
Madge then went over my makeup with me, watching in the mirror, showing me a few mistakes I had made, and giving me tips for a better-looking face. After she was finished with me, I looked in the mirror and was amazed at the beautiful girl looking back at me in amazement. I was thinking to myself, there is no way I should look this beautiful, but I do. Madge gave me the bottles of nail polish; in case I need to touch it up. And also, a bottle of nail polish remover for when it’s time to reapply it. I thanked her for her help, put back on my stockings and heels, and went back to the store.
The girls saw me, and they all ran over to me exclaiming how fabulous my hair now looked, and they loved my new pierced ears and makeover. I blushed again and was happy they probably couldn’t tell with the makeup I had on. We all hugged again, and I resumed my store duties. I was thinking to myself, these girls would barely talk to me before, except to giggle at me, and now they were like best friends with me. I could really enjoy this.
The rest of the day was uneventful, and I returned to Ms. LaRue’s home and changed into my maid uniform. I started in on the daily tasks and quickly made my way through them. My phone chimed with a text from Ms. LaRue, and it said, please meet me in the kitchen. I reported to her, and she was holding a few pills in one hand and a glass of water in the other.
“Here are your supplements and meds, Danielle.”
I took the cup and dropped the pills in my mouth, and swallowed them with the water.
She smiled at me and said, “Don’t worry, Danielle, none of these pills will hurt you. While you are here, this is what I would like you to make for dinner and explained the menu. I got to work and created a really nice meal and dessert that Ms. LaRue thoroughly enjoyed, and she told me that I was doing an outstanding job and I was becoming a really good cook. Ms. LaRue also told me that she would start picking out more challenging recipes that I could follow to create some really excellent meals. I asked Ms. LaRue about going out with the girls on Friday, and she thought that was a great idea, and I would get to know them much better.
I cleaned up the kitchen and retired to my suite for the evening. The rest of the week was the same way on the days that I was working at the store. I would work a bit harder at completing my tasks, and for the off days, I would have some free time. Ms. LaRue also gave me a laptop, so I could connect to the internet. This was a really big help for me, as I lost my computer in the fire. Regarding the condo insurance, the insurance company was refusing our claim saying it was a suspicious fire and the condo board’s website advised us that we would have to go to court against them to get a settlement. They told us this could take years and not to expect anything soon. I went by the old condo site, and they had a fence up, and there was nothing but charred ruins. At least no one was injured or any lives lost in the fire, but I had lost everything I owned there.
Friday rolled around, and I worked cleaning the house in the morning, went for my shift at the store in the afternoon, and the girls asked me if I was going to come along with them. I said that I had the go-ahead from Ms. LaRue, and we all went to this fancy restaurant after work. We had a great meal and talked for a couple of hours afterward, and then we went over to a local club. I told the girls I was underage and couldn’t drink, and they might not let me in the club, but they said not to worry, they knew the bouncer, and there wouldn’t be any issues. We arrived at the club, and just as they said, he gave us all a big smile, and we walked right into the club. We found a booth, and we all sat around and started chatting. A waitress came by, and the girls ordered drinks. I was just going to have a soda when Jackie told her to get a white wine for me. After the waitress left, I looked at her, but she just smiled and said, don’t worry, dear, she is a friend of mine too. The evening was great. I loved the music, and these hot guys kept coming up and asked us to dance. Eventually, I was out on the dance floor as well, trying my best to keep up with them. The evening came to a close, and I was getting tired. I didn’t drink that much, and the girls dropped me off at the store, and I drove back to Ms. LaRue’s home. It was around midnight, and she was still up watching TV when I entered.
“How was your evening, dear?”
I told her I had a great time and enthusiastically told her about the evening and all the fun times I had with the girls and guys who were asking me to dance, and I went dancing with them.
“How did that make you feel?”
I thought about it and told Ms. LaRue, “The fact that I am a guy never entered my mind. It was like I was in a girl mode and was just enjoying myself and the moment. I had a really lovely evening, and the girls already asked me out for next Friday.”
Ms. LaRue smiled at me and said, “I am happy you enjoyed yourself, Danielle.”
With that, I excused myself and went to my suite. I took a shower, removed my makeup, and went to sleep.
The weekend started, and I was able to do all the tasks by noon. I made a wonderful lunch for Ms. LaRue, and she told me to change, and we were going shopping for some new clothes.
I got ready, and Ms. LaRue and I got in her Mercedes and drove into the city. She told me that she wanted to see some of the shops downtown and also wanted to drop by one of the larger Amelia’s Boutique stores in our chain that was there as well.
The day went quickly. Ms. LaRue kept finding more and more items for me to try on in the various shops we entered. It was a whirlwind of dresses, lingerie, shoes, and accessories. I had so much fun in Victoria’s Secret shop that she almost had to drag me out of there. Ms. LaRue thought it was funny; she thought I was like a child in a candy store, I was attracted to everything I saw, and it was the first time I had ever set foot in a lingerie store.
We ended up at the flagship Amelia’s Boutique, and it was awesome. They had so much of a selection. Where we might only have had a couple colors or styles of a dress, they had dozens, and it was on 3 floors as well. It took us a couple of hours to go through, and Ms. LaRue introduced me to Ms. Thomas, who was the store manager there. She was a very trim nice-looking woman and gave me a big smile.
“Ms. LaRue has told me about you, Danielle; I can see you are developing into a very beautiful young woman. She is telling me she expects great things from you in the future.”
All I could do was blush and say thank you back to her.
After Amelia’s, we went back to the car and unloaded all my new stuff into the trunk. Ms. LaRue then drove us over to a really fancy French restaurant, and we both had a wonderful meal together. The menus were a work of art, and there were no prices on them. I knew it was going to be expensive, but Ms. LaRue paid for it all. We returned home, and I took my new things down to my suite and found places to hang them up. I now had new club outfits when I was out with the girls and a bunch of new clothes for when I was at work, as well as when I start school in September.
I had been living as a girl now for a month, and it was really feeling like I had been living like this my whole life. I was forgetting what it was like being a boy, and my thoughts seemed to be changing as well. I would see a hot guy and have all these delicious thoughts about him, and I would see a beautiful woman and would look at what she was wearing and wonder how those clothes would look on me. I never thought like that when I was a guy. I would look at beautiful women and desired them, knowing they would just ignore me. I have guys smiling at me all the time now, and I would be whistled at, and cars would honk their horns at me when I was outside walking down the sidewalk. It was all very new to me, and I had a hard time keeping a handle on it. Several guys have given me their phone numbers though I haven’t wanted to call any of them back. I was also getting very emotional now. This never happened to me before, and I wasn’t sure why my feelings were all over the place. When I removed my silicone breast forms from my chest the other day, I noticed my nipples were sore and swollen. I talked to Ms. LaRue about it, and she told me not to worry; it might be an allergic reaction to the adhesive. She suggested that I just keep them in the bra pockets for now, and she would look into getting some cream for them from the doctor.
The new week started, and Ms. LaRue told me she was going to take me over to the DMV to get a new driver’s license. I asked her why, and she asked me to come into her office and sat me down.
“Danielle, I want to bring you up to speed on what I have been doing for you. First of all, I applied for a legal name change for you. Your new name is Danielle Jocelyn LaRue. I also applied to the state for a sex change on your birth certificate, and you are now officially a female.”
I sat there stunned; I didn’t know what to say.
Ms. LaRue continued, “After your condo burned down, I tried searching for any living relatives, but I am afraid to say, you are alone in the world now. I took it upon myself to become your legal Guardian. Until you are 18 years old, I have the authority to take care of you and make any decisions for you.”
“Your new birth certificate came back in the mail, and we can now go down to the DMV and get you a new driver’s license.”
She handed it to me, and there it was my new name, and it was marked as female. She also handed me a new social security card that had my old number, but it had my new name on it as well. I silently looked at them and then back at Ms. LaRue.
“Danielle, I want to ask you, you have been living as a woman for the past month, and you seem to be enjoying yourself as one. Do you really want to go back and live your life as a man?”
I sat and thought about this. I really felt like I was only going through the motions of living when I was a boy. I truly never experienced life, but now, it was like stepping out of a black and white movie into a technicolor one. My life was really so much better.
I didn’t know what else to say, “No, Ms. LaRue, being a woman, this summer has meant more to me than my previous life as a boy.”
“That’s what I thought you would say, my dear, so let’s drive over to the DMV and have you set up.”
We got in Ms. LaRue’s Mercedes and drove over to the DMV. I filled out the form, showed them my new birth certificate and old license, snapped a new photo, and they gave me a temporary card and said the new license would arrive in the mail in a couple of weeks.
Ms. LaRue took me out for lunch to celebrate my new status, and then we drove over to the store, where I worked the afternoon with the rest of the girls.
After my shift was over, I punched out and waited in Ms. LaRue’s office for her to complete her work for the day. After she was finished, we left and closed up the store and stopped at a restaurant on the way home, and had another wonderful meal.
We made it home, and Ms. LaRue asked me to make some coffee and bring out a few cookies. I went into the kitchen and started the coffee, and put a few cookies on a plate. I brought it all out on a serving tray and set it on the coffee table.
“Sit down, my dear. Tell me, are you enjoying your time spent here with me?”
I replied, “Most definitely, Ms. LaRue. You are not related to me, but you took it upon yourself to let me into your home and gave this job I do for you as a maid, but it’s not hard work at all; I enjoy doing it. Yes, you are very formal here, but I don’t mind, I like the routine of it all. I think it is keeping me balanced mentally and emotionally too. Lately, my emotions have been all over the place, but I find doing the work tends to calm me down and lets me be more level-headed. You give me the evenings off, and I have the free time to spend as I like. When I return to school in the fall, evenings will be for studying, so I am enjoying the summer while it lasts.”
I went back downstairs to my suite and changed into something more comfortable. I sat on my bed and thought about my life.
I felt like I was living in a dream right now, and someone was going to wake me up. Was all of this happening to me? Ms. LaRue did get me some cream for my breasts, but they were still getting larger. I had A-cup breasts now, and they were still growing. I think some of my supplements are actually hormones, but Ms. LaRue has never shown me the prescription bottles. A small part of me wants to run away, but where would I go? What would I do? Is it really that bad to become a woman? It’s not like I had any great success as a man. In fact, I was terrible at being a guy. I was fine-boned and skinny and made up; I look much better as a woman than as a guy. And the clothes! Wearing all these fashions has made me feel so much better about myself. I had never had as much fun and enjoyment in my life as I have had since I moved in with Ms. LaRue. I decided then and there that I would continue on with my life as Ms. LaRue’s maid and truly become Danielle. If that meant becoming a woman, I couldn’t see any problem with that either. I really didn’t have any complaints; Ms. LaRue was always fair to me and had given me so many things to make my life better.
For the rest of the week, I had to hitch a ride with Ms. LaRue back and forth from work. My old car had broken down again and was back at the shop. The mechanic called me and told me that the car needed a new engine, and I couldn’t afford to fix it. It was still sitting there in the back lot.
I returned home from work with Ms. LaRue on Friday evening. We stopped in the driveway, and she turned and smiled at me and told me she had a surprise to show me. She pushed on the garage remote, and when the door opened up, there was a brand-new silver Mercedes sitting inside the garage.
I said, “Wow! Ms. LaRue, that car is beautiful!”
She replied, “Yes, it is! That is my new Mercedes, and this one is now your car.” She dropped the keys into my lap.
I didn’t know what to say, as tears welled up in my eyes, and I started crying. Ms. LaRue handed me a tissue and told me not to ruin my makeup. I sniffled a bit more and then gave her a big hug. Saturday, I was outside washing, vacuuming, and polishing my new Mercedes. (Well, new to me, and the truth is, it was only 2 years old.) I must have looked silly dressed up in my maid’s outfit washing the car, but I didn’t care; I was on cloud nine. I called up my mechanic and told him for his trouble, he could keep my old car and sell it for scrap. He chuckled at me as he hung up the phone.
That evening Ms. LaRue gave me a recipe for Duck L’orange. I didn’t know if I could pull it off but figured it couldn’t be much harder than making a roast chicken, and it turned out great. Ms. LaRue was now allowing me to wear a dress and an apron when making dinner. And she allowed me to sit with her in the dining room, and we ate together. I thought back to what Ms. LaRue was like when I first met her. She was so prim and proper and so distant. In the last couple of months, I really saw a change in her personality. She was becoming friendlier with me and was so much more enjoyable to be around. We were acting more like a mother and daughter than a maid working for a lady. I really enjoyed myself with her, and her knowledge of pretty well anything was astounding; she was one very intelligent woman. We were doing more things together outside of work. We ate out as much as we ate at home, and we would attend shows and movies together.
Today is the first day of my new year in High School. I am starting at the same school but as a new person. Danny Weston is but a memory in my mind. Danielle LaRue has taken his place. I drove up to the school in my Mercedes and turned the heads of many of the guys I used to know. They watched me park in the student’s lot and then kept staring at me as I got out of the car and slowly walked towards the school. As I walked by the guys, I could hear my heels clicking on the sidewalk, as all eyes were on me. Of course, I was dressed to the nines with a beautiful new dress, stockings, and heels. No jeans and a t-shirt for this girl. I could hear them whispering to themselves, who is that girl? Where did she come from?
I just smiled and said, “Hey, boys.” And I continued to walk inside towards my homeroom.

I just wanted to make her stand out from the other girls. And since fancy dresses are all the boutique sells, that's all Ms. LaRue let her wear. There is more on this fashion statement to come.

There’s a shoe out there, ready to drop. No way SOMEone at school isn’t going to figure it out, and what about the teachers? Administration would have had to change the records and we all know that even HIPPA privacy is a joke. Somebody knows all. It would have been wonderful in HS to attend only in classy feminine dresses, no jeans etc. I think I can count on one hand all the girls who wore heels, EVER in HS. Good luck, Danielle. You’ll love having a vagina. Great club to join!.

I always dream of going to school wearing a pretty knee-length dress and pumps, while walking from the school corridor, boys checking on me, and girls feeling jealous. Well, Julia all is set for Danielle, maybe to live a better life as a girl after all that struggle. But I don't know if he really likes that.
