Danielle LaRue - Fashion Model - Part 10 - Ending
🕑 Added 2021-10-18 13:08:54 +0000 UTCThis news crushed Danielle. She felt like she was hit by a train and just lay sobbing quietly on the sofa. She felt like she had been publically disgraced, humiliated and would never work as a model again.
Scott continued to talk with his father, “Yes, Dad, make sure you get in touch with Cindy Rome, Danielle’s boss. She will probably be publishing a statement. Talk to Amelia’s executive board, as they will be making a statement as well. There is nothing wrong with a girl that is transgender, and I wish people would understand that. Danielle is the same as any other woman; she was just unfortunately born a male. It’s not her fault.”
Betty and Frank entered the room; they both stopped in their tracks and stared at the TV screen. “Oh my God, what has happened? I can’t believe this is on the TV.” Betty sat down beside Danielle. “Don’t worry, dear; I know we will find a way through this mess.” She softly held Danielle and let her cry on her shoulder.
Scott hung up the call with his father. It seems that the private investigator that Mom initially hired wanted to make some extra money. First, this Cihak fellow tried to extort a ransom from Mom and Dad to the tune of two million dollars. The police arrested the slimeball, but he had already sold the story to a tabloid, and then the story hit the news as well. Mom and Dad will be suing his ass off since he had signed a non-disclosure agreement with them when Mom first hired him.
We are going to sit down together and figure out a plan of action. We don’t have to go back to the US right now, and it’s probably best we stay here since they don’t know where we are at present. The news people are camped out in front of our family home right now, hoping to catch a glimpse of Danielle.
Scott sat down beside Danielle. He kissed her and said, Don’t worry, we are all going to get through this. He stroked her hair as she continued to cry softly.
“All I ever wanted to be was a girl. I don’t understand why people want to make things so difficult for me,” said Danielle between sobs.
Danielle’s phone started ringing again. “Don’t answer it,” she asked.
Scott picked up the phone and answered the call. It was Antonio from Milan. He told Scott that he just had heard the news about Danielle. Antonio told Scott to tell her that this news changed nothing. In fact, in Europe, this news has elevated Danielle to a much higher level since there are so few gorgeous and talented transgender models. Danielle has nothing to worry about here, and it will only make her more famous and in much greater demand in Europe.
Scott told Antonio, I think she should hear this from you directly. Hang on for a second, and I will put you on the speaker so that you can tell her now.
Antonio repeated what he had just told Scott and added, “Danielle, you have nothing to worry about, my darling. You will be a supermodel here in Europe, and being transgender will only help elevate you to a much higher level. Every fashion house in Europe will want you to model their fashions now.”
Danielle stopped crying and replied to Antonio, “Really? You aren’t just saying this to make me feel better?”
Antonio replied, “Bella, this aspect of you will make you even more famous here. Be proud that you are transgender and all you have accomplished. I will see you next week in Milan.”
For the rest of the week, they kept a low profile in Venice. Danielle would wear large hats and sunglasses, and they managed to stay away from the news reporters as they continued to sightsee in Venice.
Meanwhile in America
Rome Modeling Agency and Amelia’s Boutique management sent out a joint statement:
“Danielle LaRue is one of the most talented and feminine youthful models that Amelia’s Boutique has employed. Being a transgender woman has made no difference; Danielle is a stunningly gorgeous model and will continue to be Amelia’s Girl. We will continue to use Danielle as our Girl since she embodies the youth and spirit we wish to see in young women.”
Mr. and Mrs. Jonsson were also shown on TV when they made this statement:
“It was unfortunate that unscrupulous people would seek to harm my new daughter-in-law, Danielle, by releasing this news to the public. Danielle would have preferred that her transgender status been kept private, but now that it is known, she wants you all to realize that she is proud to be a Transgender Woman. She is sorry she can’t be here in person to tell you this, but she is presently out of the country on her honeymoon with my son. I wanted to add that Danielle is the most feminine woman I know; she is genuinely in her heart a total woman. Thank you and goodnight.”
Back in Italy,
In Europe, Elite Models released this statement:
“We have recently hired Danielle LaRue as a model for Elite Models. She is a rising star here in Italy and will soon be modeling all over Europe for major fashion houses and in America for Amelia’s Boutique. As a transgender model, Danielle only elevates her status as one of the best fashion models we have in our employ, as our models are the Elite of the fashion world.”
The story eventually began to die down. The conservative pundits, the religious right, the TERFs, and the transphobes all had their say, condemning Danielle for trying to hide that she was transgender and shouldn’t represent women. But in the end, her commercials kept running on TV, and she continued to be shown in print modeling Amelia’s fashion line.
Thousands of letters from young girls expressing their support for Danielle flooded Amelia’s Boutique stores around the country, wishing her the best. Every single letter was displayed on a unique wall for Danielle in every Amelia’s store. Amelia’s Boutique started the Danielle LaRue Fan club, and within a month, over a million young girls had joined and several hundred transgender girls too. The publicity and the swell of support for Danielle helped Amelia’s Boutique publicize its expansion into the eastern United States. It was the most successful expansion in the company’s history.
Scott and I climbed out of the jet after it rolled to a stop in Milan. The ground crew removed our luggage, and we kissed Betty and Frank goodbye. They would now return to Sacramento in the jet.
“Say hello to Mom and Dad for us. From the looks of things, it’s going to be an exciting month for Danielle,” said Scott.
“Will do, Scott, and take care, Danielle; I will miss you both,” replied Betty.
Frank added, “The same goes for me. You two are my best friends now.”
I waved goodbye and said, “I love you both, have a safe trip back.”
We got in a taxi and arrived at the apartment Elite models had provided us. Once we were inside, Scott picked me up and gave me a warm embrace and a big kiss.
“How are you feeling, Dani?”
“Much better Scott, Mom sent me a text message with many photos from their store, and Amelia’s stores have created this wall, showing all the letters of support my fans sent me. Not only that but Amelia’s started a new fan club for me. Over a million girls joined as well as many teen transgender girls, telling me that I am giving them hope things will work out well for them.”
Monday morning arrived, and Scott and I arrived at the Elite Model’s studio. Antonio was there, and he embraced me and kissed me. Let’s all go to my office, and I will show you the itinerary for this month.
We sat down, and Antonio told me they would be photographing me for several fashion lines this week. There were going to be some long hours, but next week there were two fashion shows in which I would be involved. I won’t say their names, but they are very well known. Then it was back for more photoshoots, and the week after, I would be doing two more shows. Then it was back to America so that I could model Amelia’s fall line. There may even be a visit to Jennifer so that I could film another set of commercials for the fall line.
I got right to work, and Scott followed me down to the studio; I modeled several fashions for the rest of the day. The rest of the week was the same for me. We had the weekend off, so we did a little sightseeing. I asked Scott how he was making out. He smiled and told me, you captivate me, Danielle. You look so fabulous in all the fashions you are modeling; the time for me flies by quickly. Being stuck in a lawyer’s office is so dull in comparison. I am glad to be here with you.
Scott and I toured more of the fashion boutiques in Milan, and many people recognized me and told me how highly they thought of me against all of the adversity I had suffered. I picked out a couple of new outfits, and we both had a wonderful lunch at a little café.
The following week I was in two different fashion shows in Milan. Every time I was on the catwalk, the audience clapped for me and cheered, and I was so amazed at my reception. The same thing occurred at the next show I did, and I was surprised at my publicity. I was worried that the other models in the show would snub me or not accept me. The opposite happened. The other models in the fashion show went out of their way to befriend me and help me out. They told me I had made it to the big show, and I was one of them now. News reporters interviewed me many times, and they all treated me with respect and never tried to embarrass me in any way.
P.T. Barnum, the great showman, once said, “There’s no such thing as bad publicity.” I am a famous model now because I am publically transgender. Sure, I wish I could be a woman, but I would be Danielle LaRue, the stunningly beautiful transgender fashion model for the rest of my life, and it was now a badge I wore with pride. I still hope that private investigator rots in hell, but things indeed turned better in my life after the initial shock was over.
It was like a whirlwind month for me since I was so busy in Italy. Scott and I had little free time, as I consistently modeled at a fashion show or photographed in a studio. And Antonio wanted me to return to Italy as soon as I was finished in the US, as he had a mountain of requests for me.
We couldn’t use the private jet coming back from Italy, so we flew first class on United Airlines for our return trip. The plane touched down at JFK airport, and we made it through customs and went to pick up our bags. We took a taxi over to the nearby executive terminal where our private jet was waiting for us.
We said hi to the pilots and soon climbed aboard the plane. We were on our way back to Sacramento.
Five hours later, we touched down in Sacramento. Betty and Frank were waiting for us and picked us up. They drove us over to our condo and told us to freshen up, and they would meet us at their parent’s mansion.
Scott and I both had a shower, and I chose one of my new outfits to dress in. Scott wore a smart-looking suit, and we drove over to our parents.
We approached their home and noticed that no one was camping out at the front gate. We drove in and parked the car and walked up to the front door.
Andrew opened the door for us and told us to come inside. He told us how well we looked and brought us into the living room, where the rest of the family was waiting for us. I hugged everyone, and Valerie kept apologizing to me for all the problems she felt responsible for causing.
I just gave everyone a big smile, and I started my little speech. You may think this publicity has harmed my reputation, but all it has done in the past month was elevate my status to a supermodel, and I’m not bragging. I have so much work waiting for me here and back in Italy, and I don’t know how to do it all. Every fashion house in Europe wants me to model for them now. I’m not sure how long this will last, but I am enjoying all of the attention I am getting.
Andrew brought in a tray of champagne flutes, and we all took one and toasted to the Jonsson family, standing together through adversity.
I spent the next hour telling them stories of my travels in Italy and all the famous people I met at these fashion shows. Scott told us that he was amazed by how well Danielle was received and enjoyed his experience. My favorite models I met were something else too, they looked even more spectacular in real life, and they were all so friendly to me.
We had a wonderful turkey dinner at the Jonsson’s, and when the evening was over, we drove home, and we were both so tired, we just went to sleep, as we had been up for hours.
The next day I got up first and started some waffles going in the kitchen, and Scott came in just as I was finishing the first batch. We sat down and ate while the second batch was cooking.
Well, it looks like our honeymoon is now officially over, and it’s back to work for you at the law office. We kissed, and he said, I will miss seeing you working every day, but I have to make a living too.
I got the next batch of waffles and gave them to Scott, and poured myself another coffee. As I watched him eat, I told him that it would make him long for me all the more. I kissed him again, and he made me eat a bite of his waffle.
We finished up, and we went into the bathroom and showered together, and Scott again ravished me under the shower. We dried off and changed, me into a pretty dress and Scott into a suit. We kissed each other in the parking level, and I waved goodbye to him as we drove our separate ways.
I got into the Rome agency, and they had a ‘Welcome Back, Danielle!’ banner hanging behind the reception desk. Cindy was standing there, and she asked me to follow her. And everyone was waiting for me in the lunchroom, and we had a little welcome back party complete with coffee and cake.
I thanked everyone for their support and told them that my career had skyrocketed in Europe because of the adversity.
Cindy told me, “And that’s not the only place, Danielle. We have had many new requests for you to model in the US too.”
We went back to Cindy’s office and sat down. She smiled and looked at me; Danielle, you are an amazing woman. They put you through so much crap last month, and you came flying through it all.
Here, let me show you what we have in store for you this month. Cindy had me booked in the studio for two weeks straight modeling Amelia’s fall lineup, and I was then going back for a week to Atlanta to film a new set of commercials for the fall fashions with Jennifer.
After that, I was headed for a fashion show in L A for a fashion house there.
Then it was back to Italy for Elite Models, where they had me booked for a month in Italy and France.
I went down to the studio and got to work. They had rows and rows of new fall fashions for me to model. Betty was there and helped me do my makeup and hair, and then it was 4 hours straight until we stopped for lunch. Betty and I, along with a few other girls, went out to eat, and we had a great time; it was like I had never left. We chatted, and I told them about my travels and my work in Italy and said, it was much like here, a studio is a studio, but the fashion shows were something else. I did an Haute Couture show in Italy, and I named some of the other models with me, and the girls’ eyes grew wide. Did you meet them? Yes, you could say we were co-workers there. They just shook their heads at me in disbelief, but they knew I was telling the truth. I showed them some of the photos that Scott took while I was on the catwalk. Look at my hairstyling and makeup. Isn’t it amazing? They passed my phone around, and they all loved it. You look so sophisticated done up like that. Yes, I didn’t know what they were up to, but I think I look amazing in the shot, though I would never want to be made up like that anywhere else but a catwalk.
We finished lunch, and I went back to work, modeling more fashions. I worked a couple of hours late since there were so many outfits to model.
Scott texted me, and I replied I would be working a couple of hours late, so he asked if I wanted to meet him at a restaurant after work. I texted back, and he made it for 7 pm and texted me the address.
After work, I drove over to the best Italian restaurant in the city. I walked inside, and Scott was waiting for me. We walked over to the reception, and they took us to our table. Scott laughed and told me, for some reason, he was craving Italian cuisine tonight, and I laughed as well.
We sat down and shared a bottle of wine and started with some bread and a Caesar salad, and I ended up with my favorite Penne Arabica, and Scott had a Veal Marsella. We both had Tiramisu for dessert with a cappuccino.
The following two weeks raced past. I worked late every night, and Scott and I would always eat out somewhere since I had no time to cook, and Scott could burn water if I let him.
I was working hard and would generally be tired by the time we got home, but I still had enough energy to please Scott, and we would make love as soon as we got through the door.
We moved my things into his condo suite on the weekend, and then I advertised my suite for rent as a furnished condo. It didn’t take long to find a renter, and Scott wrote up a proper lease for the person. So that was one less thing off my mind. Scott had two parking spots with his condo, so I ended up parking beside him.
Two weeks later, I was off to Atlanta for a week to shoot the new TV spots for Amelia’s fall line. I met up with Jennifer again, and the routine was much the same as before. This time, though, we shot the exterior scenes first as the weather was forecast to be rainy towards the end of the week. We used many of the same actors and actresses as before, including my TV boyfriend, Lucas. Since it was fall, we used shots around the university to play a new college student who would look her best. It was summer, and it was hot, and these clothes were hot, so whenever I wasn’t in front of Jennifer’s camera, I was hiding in my airconditioned trailer.
I went out a couple of nights with Jennifer and Christy, and we had a great time. Jennifer told me she was upset when she had heard about me in the news. I told her initially I was distraught, but then everyone supported me. I told them about Elite Models in Italy, who had also signed me, with an option to sign me exclusively when my contract with Cindy Rome was over. Christy was amazed; she had always wanted to model in Europe when she was younger but never had the chance to go. The clothes they style there are incredible. The Haute Couture styles are sometimes way out there, but I have fun modeling them. I showed them a few of my pictures on the phone, and they loved them as well. I didn’t get a chance to say hi to Stephanie, but I recorded a video for Stephanie on Jennifer’s phone so that she could see it.
Jennifer told me that Stephanie had joined the fan club that Amelia‘s Boutique had started for me, and I made mention of that in her video as well. I also have a stepsister who is a member of my fan club, though I haven’t seen her since my wedding.
How is your wedding going, Danielle?
Scott constantly amazes me. I said with a laugh; he is such a caring and loving husband, with a lot of emphasis on the make-loving part.
Once we finished all the exterior shots, we moved into the studio to shoot the interior scenes. It was a good thing we delayed them until after the exteriors since the rain came down outside very hard for the last couple of days. We managed to complete the shots in a week. I attended the wrap party with Jennifer and said my thanks and goodbyes to the actors and crew.
Then it was back home for the weekend and off to L A for a fashion week, where I would be a runway model. I met with many other models, and many were from Elite models as well. They all knew me and greeted me with open arms. I have heard stories of some models who had terrible attitudes in the past, but the models I worked with were always professional and friendly. Every time I walked down the runway, I heard people whisper who I was, and I had to look over the crowd due to all the camera flashes going off. I gave many interviews, and there were more questions about my being transgender than in Europe, but I was used to it by now. If they asked me a stupid question, I would say, I won’t answer that, next question. I made it through the week, and then it was briefly back home with Scott for the weekend before I was off to Europe for another month of fashion work. Scott and I made great use of the limited time we had together during the weekend. On Monday, I was at the airport early for a flight to San Fransisco on my way to Milan. Scott dropped me off, and we kissed before I left for my flight.
The flight over to Italy was uneventful. It was first-class for me except for a short flight from Sacramento to San Fransisco. Then it was to JFK in New York and off to Rome with a quick connecting flight to Milan. This flight took much longer than the private jet did, but the seats were very comfortable. We flew overnight, and I arrived Tuesday around 11 am in Milan. I had slept on the plane, though I had a bit of jet lag. The first-class lounges in San Francisco and JFK were very well appointed, and I met many people who had seen me in the news. I also met some famous people who said hello as well. I had dressed to the nines since a model must look striking when she is out in public and received many compliments on my outfit.
I went into the office to see Antonio after dropping my things off at an apartment they had reserved for me. I freshened up and changed as well since it had been a long flight. I was still running on adrenaline, and I wasn’t exhausted yet, but I knew it would be a matter of time.
Antonio was at reception to greet me, and he took me back to his office, where we discussed what I would be doing this month for Elite. He had a cappuccino brought in for me as well as a few biscotti.
The first two weeks were all photo shoots, many for ads and some magazine layouts. I was modeling a wide range of clothing from casual to Haute Couture. For me, this career never got boring. The following two weeks were going to be fun as they were both big fashion shows. One was going to be a week here in Milan, and the second one was in Paris. I was excited since I had never been to Paris.
So as you can see, my career as a fashion model took off, and I am in high demand in the fashion world. For now, I think this is an excellent place to end my story. If something new comes up in my life, I will write a new chapter for my blog, but I am so busy with work that I am finding it challenging to find the time to write all of these things down.
Rest assured, I am doing well for myself now. I think back to that sixteen-year-old boy, and I look at where I am now, and it’s hard to believe that I am the same person; my life has changed so much. Thank you for reading about my sometimes dull life, and I hope you enjoyed your time with me.

Julia, I re read this story a few times now. I still get choked up cry and cheer. I would love see a Dannelle and Scott story. I can see him as an Agent to the supermodels. With support from the Jonssons, Ms LaRue, and the Atlanta group it could be a great adventure, lets not forget little Stephanie. Just an idea.

What a wonderful conclusion to a remarkable story. I was worried for a bit that there wouldbe a jump from a hi story to the ground after the last installment. It's great that Danielle had such a wonderful support system to help her along. She is so lucky to get such a great start early in life.
