An emotional story written by Brianna Demonet about a young man who was attacked and assaulted by four young lads. They called him a faggot, queer, sissy, or girly boy. Well, it finally happened. I ended up in the hospital on the last day of my freshman year of high school. I was attacked and assaulted while I was about to exit the school.

The following week was a lot of probing and prodding. They took out all my tubes except my IV and catheter. I was feeling better; my pain level was a four now.
The nurse came in and said the doctor had ordered testosterone therapy. The nurse injected my IV with a low dose of testosterone. I started getting the shakes in my hands and feet. Aunt V saw it. She mentioned it to my mom.
When Doctor Yung came to check on me, Aunt V and Mom pulled Dr. Yung into the hall.

This is a terrific and hard hitting story to say the least. But it is marred by numerous grammatical errors and incorrect pronouns that make critical parts difficult to understand without rereading them several times to determine who is speaking, who is being addressed and so on. This work needs a good editor to smooth out these rough spots and make the story even better. Nevertheless, it is a great story that grabs your heart and helps you identify with the characters who are all too real.
