My wife says “I’m not sure I’d take off a dress like I’d take off a tee shirt. I might hike up the skirt first, then do the tee shirt maneuver.” TBH I don’t get it, but maybe it makes since to someone else. Sorry if it’s vague AF.

I know this isn't helpful, but I cannot see anything wrong with either pose. The only thing I would have recommended was the little knee bend, but you already got that right.
