I tried my best to get forest pics
🕑 Added 2024-09-04 22:53:19 +0000 UTCI had this really cute idea that I would take pics that looked like the tree was trying to pull my skirt up and it would be super realistic like a pinup. It was really hard to do! Firstly I didn’t want to damage a tree so I had to hold a stick out of frame, lift it and walk in and out of frame.
Also, there was random people in the woods that I needed to look out for! You can see some of my inspiration below.
This is may be unsurprising to you but I’ve kind of come to the realization that taking sexy pics IS part of my art practice. It helps me think through ideas. It’s still something I want to keep locked on my Patreon but I might make one of my characters really into doing pinup photoshoots. Possibly my airplane gal.
Anyways, I’m curious if there are specific tropes in pinups that you find compelling or too cheesy. Or if you have any hot takes.

I've been thinking about this too! I think decommissioned military planes and airplane graveyards would be the place to look

There’s got to be some way of connecting an anthropomorphic airplane character who does pin up poses with the way military planes used to have pin ups on them.

Instead of an innocent tree assaulting you (brings to mind Evil Dead), you could use iPhone stickers to have Pee Wee’s Playhouse character “Randy” be exposing your knickers. I can see that creep doing it. That tree rape stuff was the worst thing Sam Raimi ever put on film and “Randy” needs to go down.
