The way this is so perfectly southern. Men can't like nice things or take care of themselves, but their women can "make" them have nice things and then they "pretend" it's silly but they love it. It's obviously not a great part of the culture in terms of well being, BUT I love seeing how in sync these two are and how much they love each other. It isn't easy raising kids and sticking together through all the changes, growth, and impact of time.
