By the time Peter made it to the club the Mary Janes were playing at, it was well into their set. He looked around nervously, the self-driving car from Stark Industries stopping at the curb where there was a huge line around the block to get into the place.
He wasn’t one for clubs, his crutches and difficulty locomoting making it a rather painful and awkward experience - if they even let him in at all - but once he’d been given the all-clear by Karen, he’d rushed to the basement at SI and had a car bring him here. His nurses hadn’t been well-pleased, but they had little reason to keep him under observation, according to the Medical AI.
When one of the bouncers turned to see what car had pulled up to the curb of his club, the huge man’s eyes widened.
‘Ey, don’t I know you from somewhere?’
With a click of a button on a keyfob, the car drove off, either to find a place to park or circle the block until he was ready to leave.
Blushing at the scrutiny the bouncer’s exclamation earned him from the countless - and beautiful - onlookers, he could only shrug. Then the man looked down at his lanyard and he grinned toothily. ‘Parker? Yeah, you work for Mister Stark! Any friend of Stark’s is a friend of mine, come here kid.’
Trying his hardest to ignore those in line glaring daggers at him, he shuffled over and shook the man and his friend’s hand. Embarrassingly, they took selfies with him, which he just grinned and accepted.
I don’t think I can handle being a celebrity, but if it lets me ignore the line, I’ll take as many selfies as they want.
‘So what’re you doin here? We don’t get many of you egghead-types coming to this club.’
‘Um,’ he began, blushing at what he was about to say. ‘My girlfriend is playing tonight, I was hoping to catch it.’
His eyes widened and he looked dubious. ‘MJ is your girl?’
Eyes widening, he shook his head. ‘Uh, no, Gwen. Gwen Stacey? The drummer.’
The bouncer grinned at him while his partner moved away to let in the next group of club goers. ‘Ahuh. Sure kid, look, you don’t need to lie to get in here, any friend of Mister Stark’s gets in, no problem.’
Flushing in annoyance at the condescending tone, he whipped out his phone before he could think better of it. Swiping across, he found a picture of him and Gwen snuggling in bed together after scrolling past all the x-rated images.
When he turned to show the man, Peter was confused when the huge bouncer’s eyes widened in shock, his eyebrows flying up to his rapidly receding hairline.
‘Damn kid, sorry for doubting you.’
Frowning in confusion, he turned his phone around and squeaked in mortification. When he’d made to show the man the image of him and Gwen as if it were an ID card, his palm must have made contact with the edge screen accidentally and scrolled to another photo, showing the man a photo of Gwen, her legs spread with his cum leaking out of her.

With his face lit up like a christmas tree, and still unused to walking without crutches, he cautiously made his way into the club. Hearing the rock music playing, he pushed through the throng of people until he had a vantage point where he could see them. MJ, Betty and Gloria stood at the front, left and right of the stage respectively, MJ and Betty playing their guitars like legit rockstars, their heads rocking and their hair flying all over the place, while Gloria stood cooly off to the side, strumming her bass.
Gwen was positioned at the back of the stage, going nuts on her drums while spinning and twirling her sticks like a real showman. Her flourishes were so impressive he doubted anyone without her superpowered dexterity could match it easily.
The riff done, MJ took to the mic again and started singing.
All bias aside, he really did like the Mary Janes’ music. He wasn’t a huge music buff, but he’d heard Gwen refer to it as Alt Rock in the past. Whatever it was though, the tune was catchy and uplifting and MJs vocals really sold it - it made him want to sing along with all his might.
Seeing that the club had a second level, he struggled his way up the stairs - while he miraculously had full control of his legs again, they still suffered from years of atrophy and improper use that he had to work hard to reverse. Again, his lanyard proved surprisingly effective. He hadn’t known the second level was a VIP area, and when he’d apologised and made to go back downstairs he was pulled back, the woman pointing to his lanyard with a smile and ushered him past the barrier.
Tony must really get around…
The VIP area was just a mezzanine floor with its own bar and plush lounges boasting an incredible view of the stage and the revellers below. It had a much more chill vibe than the chaos downstairs and he found himself thankful that he’d forgotten to change into something more appropriate, his ID proving to be some kind of crazy all-access pass.
He made himself comfortable on one of the vacant armchairs, a cold soda in hand, the nearby group of pretty people eyeing him curiously. He noticed one of them discreetly motioning to her chest, as if to discreetly draw attention to his lanyard, eyes wide.
This is getting a little weird.
Figuring he won’t be needing his newly found all-access pass for the rest of the night, he tucked it back in his shirt and watched his girlfriend and her friends rock out with enthusiasm, clapping and cheering like a loon between every song.
Thankfully, none of the other VIPers around him tried to strike up a conversation. He hated small talk, especially with people he didn’t know. That was more Gwen’s forte.
They played for another hour, all four women drenched in sweat and looking utterly spent by the time they were done - though their smiles at the audience’s rapturous applause lit up the room better than the cool neon lights ever could.
Peter stood and joined their die-hard fans in giving their effusive praise. At that moment, either because of her weird spidey-senses or just intuition, Gwen looked up and her mouth dropped open in shock when she saw him standing there and cheering wildly for her.
Even if she didn’t have superior vision, the fact that he’d come straight from SI, dressed like every other R&D employee, made him stand out like a sore thumb.
She vaulted off her seat and jumped off the stage, a look of thunderous fury marring her beautiful features.
Uh-oh.
This wasn’t a good place to have this conversation. Looking around wildly, he spotted a door that had a sign letting patrons know it allowed rooftop access.
Even as he slipped through the door and started walking up the stairs, he knew this was a terrible idea. He felt Gwen approaching him, his neural tech that allowed Gwen to control her suit’s functions with her mind also allowing him to track and feel her movements.
For her safety, of course.

By the time Gwen caught up to him, he was seated on the bottom step of only the second flight of stairs looking utterly shattered. The furious look in Gwen’s eyes switched to alarm when she saw the state of him.
‘Peter?!’ she gasped, her eyes roaming over his form - sans crutches - as he gasped and panted on the bottom step.
‘Surprise?’ he said, gesturing to his legs with a tired chuckle.
She gaped at him in shock for several moments, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears as she looked between his legs and his face over and over. Eventually, she dropped down beside him and wrapped him in a bone-crushing hug. ‘I thought you were an imposter when I saw you! Some kind of new villain who knew my real identity trying to get to me or something. What happened?! How?!’

When she put it like that, it made him sound like a jerk - though he didn’t think she’d appreciate it if he told her it was less a normal surgery, and more a ritual. She threw her arms up in the air and made to storm off. She got two steps before turning around and plopping down on the step next to him.
‘No. I don’t want to be one of those cliched girls that just runs off instead of talking out our issues like a sane person.’
He chuckled, memories of her bitching during every romcom they’d ever watched flooding into his mind. Though she didn’t look too pleased with his amusement.
‘Sorry, and you’re right, I should have told you. I was going to tell you, but, uh, you distracted me pretty well the last time I was at your place and it kind of slipped my mind until I remembered too late and I didn’t want to spoil the mood?’
Her eyes widened and she flushed at the reminder. Then they narrowed. ‘Are you saying this is my fault?’
‘No,’ he said, waving his hands in front of him urgently. ‘I’m saying I’m an idiot and I forgot and didn’t want to bother you. I was in no danger anyway.’
‘How can you say that?’ she asked frostily. ‘I may not be a scientist, but even I know brain surgery is serious, and dangerous.’
Sighing, he collapsed back against the stairs behind him, waiting for a couple to ascend the stairs past them to the rooftop before continuing.
‘Gwen, I’ve had this cure for years. I invented the chip when I was eighteen, but never used it because it was too dangerous. It wasn’t my first idea either, my first attempt was to become a super like you, but I quickly realised how terrible of an idea that was and tried fixing my brain with tech instead - it obviously worked.’
She frowned, calming down as he explained everything to her in a measured voice. He smiled as she took his hand between her own and squeezed. ‘You’ve had the cure for years? What changed?’
‘Tony,’ he admitted with a shrug before chuckling. ‘If you can believe it, he told me being a cripple was making him look bad and to hurry up and fix it so we can do more interesting projects. That’s when I showed him the chip. I had no intention of ever using it, but when he looked it over and gave his blessing - then got Steven to do the surgery… I kind of ran out of excuses.’
‘Steven?’ she asked with a raised brow, before they widened in shock, the fangirl showing her true face. ‘Steven Strange?! Doctor Strange?!’
He chuckled. She was just too adorable.
‘When Tony Stark and Steven Strange say that the operation will be no problem, and when one of them has actual magic, it kind of feels silly to put it off anymore…’
She was silent for several minutes. It might have been uncomfortable but he just luxuriated in the feeling of his girlfriend gripping his hand while running her other one up and down his thigh as he bounced it.
‘Okay. There’s no reason to be pig-headed about this. I agree you were mostly responsible and in good hands. I forgive you.’
He grinned wide at her and leaned over to give her a kiss. She captured his face between her hands and deepened it before he pulled away, eyes wide and cheeks flushing.
‘Um, before you forgive me you should know I tried to show the bouncer a photo of us to prove you were my girlfriend so he’d let me in and I might have accidentally shown him another photo that you probably wouldn’t want him to see and he saw it and I’m sorry?’
Her smile steadily widened at his rambling explanation and apology, giving credence to her claim that she honestly didn’t care who he showed her photos to. The way she bit her lip as she thought about it, she was probably, actually turned on by the thought.
‘You showed old Jimbo a photo of me?’ she asked, her tone sultry and breathy. ‘You showed him a photo of your slutty girlfriend like an ID to get into the club? Which one?’
Blushing, he took out his phone and handed it to her, the photo still front and centre when he unlocked it.

Looking back up at him, her smile turned into a frown. ‘No more secrets, okay? We tell each other everything.’
‘That’s fair. I’m sorry.’
She nodded, a smile on her face before kissing him again.
‘What are you doing here though?’ she asked, finally realising where they, or more specifically, he was. ‘I thought you hated clubs.’
‘I do, I did,’ he shrugged. ‘It’s actually not so bad now that I realise my lanyard can let me hang out in VIP areas and the prospect of stairs isn’t so frightening, but, well, honestly?’ he felt his cheeks heating rapidly when he realised what he was about to say, a sentiment that had sounded so sweet and cool in his mind starting to sound a lot more cringe now that he was about to give voice to it. ‘The first thing I wanted to do now that I have full use of my legs was dance with my girlfriend?’
She looked to have been enjoying his squirming a lot, her smile wide and cheeky, but when he said that her entire demeanour softened, her lips pursed and she furiously wiped at her shimmering eyes. ‘You’re such a goof,’ she said with a watery giggle. ‘Do you even know how to dance?’
‘No idea!’ he laughed. ‘I was hoping you’d teach me.’
She stood and helped him up, her smile blinding. When he joined her, his legs feeling less wobbly after the rest, she grinned and pushed him against the wall. They stayed like that for a while, countless other patrons walking both up and down and mostly ignoring the couple making out on the stairs - he figured it must be a pretty common sight.

‘Cancel it,’ Gwen said with conviction. ‘Pete, I’ve been a gymnast my whole life. I’m quite capable of taking care of my man.’
She wasn’t wrong, and she had even gone to school for it - physiotherapy and criminal psychology, an odd mix, to be sure.
‘Then I’ll be in my girl’s capable hands.’
She giggled at him, her smile radiant as they slowly made their way down the stairs hand-in-hand. ‘You looked so goofy when you said that. Biggest, dorkiest smile on your face, it was adorable.’
‘I love saying it,’ he said, his smile just as big and dorky, with cheeks flushing.
When they made it back to the VIP area, it was a lot busier than it had been during the concert, but still not as crowded as the ground floor. He spied MJ, Betty and Gloria over near the bar surrounded by friends and potential suitors. When the redhead spotted them walking hand in hand, he smiled wide and winked at the gaping beauty before they disappeared down the stairs.
To his surprise, the music blaring over the speakers was nothing like the music the Mary Janes played. It was much slower, much heavier on drums and bass. It sounded like hip-hop, but slower.
Seeing his look of confusion, Gwen leaned into his ear so she could be heard over the music. ‘It’s called Reggaeton. This is the club’s usual crowd and vibe.’
Nodding in understanding, he allowed himself to be dragged by his gorgeous girlfriend to the middle of the dancefloor, the sea of bodies a lot less intimidating now that he could move under his own power.
The people dancing around him were mostly paired off, each of them bumping and grinding into each other, all of them looking to be in their own little worlds and oblivious to everyone around them.
Smiling, Gwen wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close. His hands instinctively went to her lower back and, grinning, she readjusted his grip so he was grabbing her incredible ass.

‘Apparently he’s Gwen’s best friend that we had no idea about. They only started dating recently,’ MJ answered with a shrug. ‘He’s also some bigshot at Stark Industries now, you know how crazy advanced they are over there Betty, they probably did something to fix him - maybe they gave him robot legs.’
Gloria grinned. ‘If they did that you’d think he’d have some better moves.’
Both MJ and Gloria giggled while Betty rolled her eyes. ‘You guys can be such bitches sometimes.’
‘Sometimes?’ Gloria asked, her glittering teeth contrasting against her dark skin. ‘I’ll have you know we’re mean bitches all the time.’
‘Get it girl!’ MJ cheered and they laughed as they clinked glasses, earning another eye-roll from Betty. ‘Besides, it was supposed to be Gwen’s turn to film tonight, what are we supposed to do now?’
Betty’s eyes widened and Gloria groaned, as if finally realising something.
‘Oh my God you guys are such sluts, can’t you just be happy for her?’
Gloria ignored her. ‘I ain’t filming. I did it last time.’
MJ whined and stamped her foot like a petulant child. ‘But look how hot your cousin’s friend is!’
They both looked to Betty at the same time, as if they’d rehearsed this, their eyes wide and their lips pouting. ‘Not a chance!’ Betty said with a laugh. ‘Actually, it could be hot. You have to call my boyfriend and ask for permission if you want me to film though. He got pretty mad last time.’
MJ groaned. ‘You didn’t even do anything!’
Betty gave her a deadpan stare.

‘Not exactly,’ Pete admitted as they both climbed in the back. Unlike normal cars, this one had no need for a ‘front’ section, having been designed to be driven by a computer, this allowed them all the leg room in the world as they made themselves comfortable in the luxurious seating. ‘Employees at SI have access to these self-driving cars if you want to get about the city.’
‘Just one of the many perks, ey?’ Gwen asked as she interlocked her fingers with his and sank into the plush leather. ‘I could get used to this.’
‘Like you need a car to get about,’ he joked. Her eyes widened, taking her a moment to realise they weren’t in public anymore before grinning.
‘This isn’t as fun as flying through the air, but it’s infinitely more comfortable. So,’ she said, shuffling over so she was leaning against his side, ‘was it everything you’d dreamed it’d be.’
‘It was better,’ he said, his voice soft as they stared into each others’ eyes. That quickly led to more kissing and that led to Gwen sitting in his lap, her arms around his neck as she ground into his hard cock while making out.

These stories are mostly smut vignettes with traces of plot tying them together and grounding them. I may write a story one day that's, like, 90% story 10% smut, but that's not this.

It seems a little to soon for Peter to be able to walk without using his crutches. I mean, his legs should still be weak and atrophied. So how is he moving so well already? Also, what was his reason for not using super powers to regain the use of his legs? He said something about it being a bad idea after some thought. What made ot seem like is was?

So Peter essentially made Gwen a nanotech version of a symbiote? Hopefully it doesn't gain a will of its own and goes out of control.
