We all knew I was going to do it π
🕑 Added 2020-03-25 15:42:01 +0000 UTCI think it was obvious that I was going to strip the exhausts and start all over again π And boy am I happy I did it!
Let me tell you that painting these fat pipes isn't easy! There are literally no color references on the internet for Tiger 1 exhausts. Also there's pretty much no surface detail which usually helps with creating contrast between different parts of the exhaust. Like I said yesterday, the "interesting" part got hidden behind the armored covers, so the mission was to reposition the "boring" heavily rusted area into the middle and leave the bottoms and tops with the more interesting finish showing traces of burnt metal and some corrosion.
Needless to say, they can have their own video now! π

Awesome! I think that would be the correct place for the heavily rusted section, given the flow direction of the exhaust gases in theory that area would be the hottest part.
