I'm that way with Jaws lol. Though there was a time right after college I was working in a small town library and renting a place on this farm (refurbished chicken coop but that's another story) in the middle of nowhere with a dead apple orchard all around it. It was far enough in the boonies that when it got dark, it got DARK.....and then Blair Witch Project came out....

I remember when i saw this for the first time. I was somewhere between the age of 8-11, i don't remember exactly. I loved ghost stories and movies/shows with this theme, my mom knew this and it was acctually her who said i should watch this, so i watched this when it was showing on tv with my parents. I was so traumatised by this movie i could not sleep for weeks. It didnt help that we lived in a haunted house. I didnt watch another horror film until i was 13-14, that's when i slowly started to watch more and more horror films. And from doing that i started to love horror movies and i still do, but it took me a long time to watch this movie again. Great reaction as always Dillon, take care.

Well Poltergeist is a german word....made up of to polter ....rumble and Geist meaning ghost or spirit ....

I think I only remember Poltergeist 3 from back then... that is the one to remember... since 3 of the cast died shortly after π³ that was creepy.....
