Wow, you know how to relish Indian food the authentic way - eat with your fingers, lick them clean, and finally lick the plate clean! And your daughter is so sweet - what a delight! I’m South-Indian and vegetarian. My favourite main dish is rice with a garlic-heavy curry called “poondu kuzhambu” and my favourite side-dish to go with it is either cauliflower or diced potatoes fried in an Indian spice-blend. My mom loves to make “thakkali rasam” (tomato-flavoured soup) and just plain “paruppu” (yellow dal). Happy to share some recipes!
