Joey is literally such a good friend. I just don’t think it should only be on him. Chandler should try sometimes. Put all that stuff in his room instead of in the living room area

Yeah, most people get it through their employer. A couple years ago I couldn't work for three months due to illness and I still got paid from my company's disability plan. My company offers both short-term and long-term disability, so I'm covered for a up to a year if I need to miss work due to illness or injury. To be fair though not every job has this benefit, so it depends on your employer. However if you are unable to work due to injury or illness for an extended period of time you could get Social Security Disability which is a government sponsored disability plan. That's what my dad has, he injured his back at his job and was no longer able to continue working so now he collects disability pay from Social Security.

We have disability leave here in the States that covers mental health so Ross would be paid during his time off work.
