WIth regard to the movie/TV show video, I alternate between both full screen and small screen as a way of helping to break up the video signature and help prevent being copyright blocked. It's not 100% fool proof, but it helps a great deal. As for the video of you reacting, either is ok by my thoughts. Do it how you feel is best.

I'm shocked Option 2 is ahead. I watch reaction videos to see someone react not squint to see a small rectangular reaction to content I've already seen but that's just me maybe.
