I managed to keep the design really true to the cartoon, which is always my goal—since honestly, it feels like the only way we’ll ever get them is through 3D printing.
The original figures were never really my thing. I can’t unsee how off-model they look compared to the cartoon. I know back in the 80s and 90s it was the other way around—make the toys first, then create a cartoon to sell them. But in my head, the “official” versions are the animated ones haha.
Even if Street Sharks never hit Ninja Turtles–level popularity, the show was still a blast—packed with cool characters and creatures that make for insanely good action figures.
