This is a known issue with the quest log. It will be fixed in v0.4.0, for now, just talk to Rae in the evening, there will be an option to "Talk about" the dinner.

Hi! Saves from v0.3.0-v0.3.6 made while in the house (not talking to anyone) should mostly work fine. Starting from v0.3.7 all saves, even those made mid-event, should work. Saves from v0.2.x and earlier aren't compatible.
