Ah, okay. I only mentioned it because it felt like a new writer had taken over for that bit, or something. It's so disconnected from how she talked previously. But I can see it working for her as just the first of several affectations she tries out, before finally settling on a style she likes.

That is by design, and it might have something to do with her settling in into her "new life" and picking bits and pieces off of the TV.

I'm delighted with any new content, but why did Lyriel suddenly starting talking like a "valley girl"? I keep expecting to hear "Are you, like, for real?", or "That is, like, so uncool. Talk to the hand. I'm out of here. ". It just seems very out of character for a snooty princess. I'm hoping this is just something you're trying out and not a permanent design decision. Don't get me wrong, I'll still love the game and crave every update, just a bit less. I'd probably end up just editing the game files to remove that affectation from the dialogue.
