There are minimal differences between the Beta and the EA versions, just a few typos fixed. So if you have it, you don't really have to bother.

You can use the PC patch to upgrade any version beginning with 0.5.0r1 to version 0.5.3r1 , just make sure to get the right flavour (hi-res/compressed).
To use the patch, place the .exe file into the game’s root folder and launch it.

I did a restart as well and so far its working. Hopefully that is all it needed. Thanks for the suggestion and response!

Does it do this all the time? Other folks have been encountering some issues with animations, but those usually are resolved by themselves after a restart (or two).

What's your platform?
Maybe this is an easy fix but whenever I start a sex scene the animation freezes after a few seconds, doesn't continue unless I click the next choice. Is there a fix for this?
