🕑 Added 2022-06-02 08:23:07 +0000 UTC Heyyy! I changed a lot of things, but remember that nothing is set in stone, and everything may change again eventually. I made the horns colored differently and also made them white/beige. After all it was the only thing that wasn't pink, yellow or white on her.. I liked it dark but it kinda didn't make sense being the only dark thing, while even her tail is the color of her skin. I can always change it back though, after all she's kinda supernatural, why couldn't her horns change color depending on her moods or thoughts? 🤭 Also I remade the system to make her cheeks red, it looked a bit weird and too bright before, now it looks nice and natural 🥰 After tweaking her skin transparency and all I noticed that the effect I made to give small details that looks like translucent skin with red and yellow pattern looked a bit too strong and kinda made her look sick, so I toned it down and now she has silky smooth skin 👅 I'm learning a bit more about FACS too, to pose her face more naturally, still there's a problem with her teeth not looking real enough to me, and never looking good when she smiles and open her mouth.. So this is still something I have to work on :( I had a lot of fun making that system to flatten her body to emulate it being against a window or screen, so I'll keep that for later eventually 😇 I always liked the idea of having a character try to interact with the viewer through the screen. Unlike a render that emulates a real picture, or a render of a scene where there's no diegetic camera, something like this implies that she's "in the computer" and that the screen is the only thing between her and the viewer. Isn't that a dream?

Sadly i seldom keep the failed renders, but on the top of my head i can think of me trying new shaders for the horns that should make them look like they "suck light" and make things dark around but it just makes them look weirdly black as if it was really a black hole, or moving the thing that creates the collision for the fingers and basically flattening her whole hand like it melted in a wall.. I can also think of all those poses i tried, when i want her to smile and she just starts looking like a toothless joker 👀💦

with all these new things you learn im actually curious what your bloopers are... the most effed up errors or miss clicks your doings/renderings have created (if something like that ever happens)
