I love winter and I love snow. The reason I voted for rain was the inclusion of the word "torrential" because it truly sells the idea, the atmosphere this would have.

Nice choice! You have good taste in both sound and music. I remember watching the storms as a kid as well. I lived in an area that would get extremely dark, so the lightning would turn the night into day. Those were good times.

Rain and storms are so relaxing to listen to, even as a child I really loved seeing and hearing them at night. By the way, one of my favorite music albums is “Ride the Lightning” by Metalicca.
