WIP - Beach Party!

I had hoped to have time to add a slew of characters and a more complex background, with lots of little details like the 'Small Town Life' patron's choice a few months back, but there's honestly just not enough hours in the day. I did get a pretty good start on this though, and I'm at least featuring Hana and Kibi, who have been asking for this beach party picture for a very long time. ^__^Still plenty of work to do here.

I know there's the risk that some of your more petulant or less patient fans might jump ship if you take longer with stuff. And I know that's gotta be a worry. But most of your fans are pretty loyal and decent people. If you need to take a break, I say take one. From the art, I mean. If you're worried about the results thereof, post a poll asking people their opinions. You and Takai need to take care of yourselves, though.

I'll be honest... I'm exhausted. This summer has been one thing after another, and both Takai and I are feeling the strain. I'm thinking I will be able to finish this up at some point during this month's stream... I just have a lot to do art-wise and very little time to do it. I would probably use a vacation day to catch up, except I already burned two of them this month due to sickness and doctor's visits.

Sounds like you've been running ragged lately. Take all the time you need, your audience seems to be pretty understanding. If we have to wait a bit for this one, I don't think anyone will be too upset.
