Status Update
🕑 Added 2018-10-15 14:42:02 +0000 UTC Hey folks - so I know lately I've been quiet. There's a few reasons for that, and I'm going to get into them right here.The first reason is a good one - I'm working on an image for a charity Halloween Giant/tiny image pack that my good friend GoatTrain is putting together, and I'm more or less keeping it a surprise until it's done. The good news there is I should be finishing this week, so expect to see something good before too long!
The second reason is less good - The last couple of months, I've felt like I've been walking a tightrope over a chasm called 'Burnout'. I've managed to stay moving, to keep making art, and I've had a lot of good artist friends who've been talking to me and helping me stay motivated... But the struggle is there, and while I've managed to keep sketching and such, I haven't been so good about finishing anything. And it's tiring. I know I hit this slump every year around this time, and I know that this year, I'm at least handling it better than previously. But I still felt it was important to share it.
I know a lot of folks have been leaving lately, and I understand. I haven't been producing much of my usual content. If you do decide to leave though - please do me a favor, and hit the Follow button on the way out. That way, when I bounce back (and I will), I'll be sure to post some public updates so that you'll know!
All that said - nothing is going to stop me from doing Patron's Choice (which this month, will feature a very busty Taffy in a tiny costume), nor will it deter me from keeping up with Taffy Tuesday! So don't lose hope - I'm still out here, still walking that tightrope - and when I get to the other side of this chasm, we're gonna frickin' party.

That is a huge reason why I don't accept commissions. I burn out faster when I'm drawing for other people, and I feel terrible when my progress slows to a crawl because I've lost my mojo.

I just had a major surgery, on top of how sick I usually am. I've been draining Chibi of his time and energy... hopefully with this surgery out of the way, things will be easier on him as well. So its partially my fault, heh.

*hugs tight* Hang in there Chibi. I'm here to support you and your wife however I can. You've done more for me than you know just be helping me feel normal about myself. I may never be brave enough to tell my family or best friend, but you have helped me feel more normal about what I like. I hope for as little as that may be worth, it makes what you draw worth it.💜
