I'm anime-only too btw and I have a crazy theory: Imagine that man with the burned scar is Imu, like who else could it be? Imu backwards means Umi which means "sea" I believe so the description with a giant whirlpool that swallows you up could make sense. Also when Imu attacked Lulusia he created that huge hole that looks like a giant whirlpool. And he also is on the world government side so pirates can't get their hands on the last road poneglyph like mentioned in the episode. At first I thought the burned-scar guy was Saul cuz I can see the last road poneglyph being on elbaph, but I don't think he is sailing with a pitch-black ship and causing trouble like that. Maybe this also has something to do with these giant creatures we saw at the end of thriller bark appearing behind the thriller bark ship out of nowhere. Such an interesting episode

But on another note, this stretch episode that is coming is my favorite for multiple reason's: Because many questions you had during the wano arc will get answered and some very new ones will pop up, we will see more of this fight. Also one of three big lore dumps in this arc will happen in the next few weeks. The one involving Dragon and vegapunk in 1096 and 1097, don't even compare to the 3 i mentioned. That's all I am going to say, my lips are sealed.
