Restoration Sneak Peeks!
🕑 Added 2019-01-29 14:00:53 +0000 UTCI understand that I intended to show the "before/after" comparisons of the film restorations I am involved with to patrons only. I thought it over more, and maybe it would be fair to show a brief sample from various clips to the public.
I selected three specific films: two Flip the Frogs, Movie Mad (1931) and Soda Squirt (his last cartoon from 1933), along with a Noveltoon, The Bored Cuckoo (1948), produced by Paramount's Famous Studios in New York. Hopefully, this can give you an idea on the hard work that goes into making these films as presentable as possible.
I do plan on making future "before/after" videos for patrons in the Head Animator tier, but for now, enjoy!

Sometimes, it's necessary to check and double-check for anything I might have missed, especially when it comes to overfixes during the auto pass (what we call DVNR)...
Devon, what's your method of scratch/dust removal? Frame-by-frame is my least favorite thing to do.
