Its more of a show on how his brave mind has changed slightly into a more feminine one. He would never be scared of heights before. But now She is.

Yeah, there's definitely a big difference between "I'm way high up, but I'll know if anything expected comes along before it happens, I can catch myself from a fall with my webs or by sliding down a building with my hands, and even if I somehow fall all the way to the ground, I'll likely survive (if in a LOT of pain for a while)." and "Falling will kill me, and I can't predict it OR prevent it once it starts!"
