This episode provided us with a completely different look at the blip and it took me completely by surprise! This show is getting more and more interesting. I'm starting to think Wanda is in much more control over her surroundings than I initially thought.

The directors of endgame said that hulk wished all people back safely so if they were flying they would be on the ground as close to where the plane was nobody appeared in the street or in harms way

The hydra soak commercial actually isnโt the only hydra commercial so far. The one of the guy in the suit trying on the watch is also a hydra reference. The watch is called โthe Struckerโ and strucker is the name of the hydra guy from the beginning of age of ultron that was doing the experiments on Wanda and her brother. The watch even had a hydra logo on it. The toaster commercial was a reference to stark industries and was the first time we saw color in the black and white episodes because it has a blinking red light on it with a beeping noise to it.

They did a great job bringing characters from movies, Darcy from Thor, Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man to connect the show to the rest of the MCU.

Monica Rambeau (Geraldine) that we learn in this episode is the daughter of Maria Rambeau. Maria was the best of friend of Carol Danvers in the Captain Marvel movie, and Monica the little girl in it.

when I first watched I couldn't figure out why Monica was... old? She was just a kid in Captain Marvel... but that was in the 1995(!?) and +5 years dusted. Wait, she's actually older than I thought, around 40? ๐

I agree! There is a lot of nuance to the chaos. Since this was in a hospital, I'm now curious as to what happened to the people who were in surgery when they went through the blip. There's so many stories to explore.

i chose to wait and watch the first 4 ep reactions together because this show is too crazy. And comments/feelings that make sense in one moment, might not in the next. but its fun to see the theories go all over the place from episode to episode in a binge watch.. this episode does excellently put everyone on the same page finally, But still make sure youre strapped in for the rest of the ride.

Don't worry, we were all just as lost when the show first aired. Also, it's been explained by the directors that Bruce did make sure to snap people back to a safe place (so nobody that was in a plane fell to their death).

This is the pivotal episode for the series where the curtain really starts to get pulled back. But why a different decade and sitcom for each episode?... ๐. Glad you are really starting to get hyped for it, Jax. More to come! ๐

I like this episode. It both gives a bunch of answers and simultaneously opens up a lot more questions. ๐ You missed some dialog; there was a three-week time jump between Monica Rambeau waking up in the hospital and then showing up for work at S.W.O.R.D. HQ.

I really liked the view of the "blip" presented here... it would have been so chaotic and confusing and this is the first time they've really presented that. I think they could do a whole show on just what happened when people came back.
