I'm cruising along on the road toward the update. This entire cycle has been painfully slow and troubling. I was getting frustrated with DAZ Studio, with constantly having to fix clothing and models. The ideas are there as always, but the slow progress was really discouraging. Pausing the pledges for a month helped. I was still working, and it wasn't much faster than the previous months, but at least it eased my mind a little about all of you supporting me financially without getting anything in return for months.
At this point at least I'm trying to make sure there are some cool scenes in the update. As I mentioned before I'm speeding up a little some relationship developments, while still trying to maintain some logic and natural progression in the story. And if something ends up feeling a little rushed, I can modify it down the line, if the development speed improves. I guess we'll see.
As usual, the image above is just a random art, not from the game. Let me know if you want me to start posting some WIP images from the update in the next blog posts.

I don't mind the wait since your work is top quality. I just wanted to say that you're one of the best out there doing this so I hope you keep doing what you're doing.

I'm trying to think of what relationships even need to be sped up. I mean, it's not like every character arc needs to follow the Parker route of slowly escalating from one event to the next -- teasy touches -> hj -> bj -> etc etc etc -- as if going by a check list. It wouldn't really be realistic if *every* relationship progressed along those lines. At this point, given the proper variable selection, if there's mutual attraction between Jessica and whoever, whether it be purely lustful or motivated by career ambition (or both), i think it would feel natural if they jumped right into bed. And i feel like this applies to most established characters. Not to say that's how every interaction should be handled, just that it's a viable option in many cases. Birch for example. Jessica has a pretty good idea of what he's about, and again, given the sluttiest permutation of choices, has established that she's willing to go quite far for her job, or is even excited by doing so. I think just about any action to gain favor at work (and have some fun) would feel natural. Same goes for the first and foremost transactional events like with the cop, Victor, or the school principle. I think there is little Jessica could do that'd feel out of place by now. It's a similar situation with the more personal relationships. Christian is a horndog and he and Heather both are very friendly with Jessica. If the player has established that she'll go all the way with Parker, an escalatory path with them might still be enjoyable, but is not strictly necessary to maintain believability. The proper mood should be achievable in a single evening. David is one that sticks out as possibly benefiting from some more slow burn and emotional build up as a more serious and complex endeavor. But then, it's best to have one or two routes that remain slow like this, to contrast with those that are fast and loose. Anyway, that's my rambling done. Looking forward to whatever the next update includes.

Your game is so awesome, it would be great if you could release updates every three or four months, my friend. Everyone is ready to support your work, we are very proud of your work, we hope you will consider it. Finally, we hope the next update will be as great as the last one.
