A quick update on patreon requests.
🕑 Added 2022-08-20 15:56:28 +0000 UTCOver the past several months I was happy to receive an influx of $25/month patrons. As part of that tier, you get to request a video (which within reason) I will then make.
Requested topics include:
-the types of volcanic rocks
-macquarie island
-the lava river cave (lava tube) in Flagstaff
Be assured that I am slowly working on these topics. Just it might be a few weeks to months before they get published. I try and keep my content flowing and many times previously scheduled content is pushed back if I need to for instance instead rush to make a news segment video.

I will be sure to answer this in an upcoming video! Trachyte is for better or worse dacite that has >7% by weight K2O+Na2O.
A video on the different types of volcanic rocks would be nice. I understand the basalt -> andesite -> dacite -> rhyolite progression, but where does trachyte (and trachybasalt, andesite, etc) fit in with all this?
