Just wanted to comment, the whole not loving other women was already broken with the queen. Honestly the MC just should have been honest about having a harem. Maybe along the lines of saying she has a say in any one that would be joining the family permanently

JO LP

2, maybe he can get a few months of life by a child considering him their parent figure or something. Viserys is a lost cause.

JO LP

So, his trueborn children not only will be better than any human. They will also reach their max faster, since the maximum scores increased only 50% while the yearly points increased by 100%. Meaning they will peak at 27 years old (and have one point left), while the bastards will peak at 38

Asharzal

1. End the male line of House Targaryen and take the women as spoils of war, a time-honored tradition of the North. I fully expect his future seat to include a section purely dedicated to his harem.

1 just for the Valyrain Steel reward alone. Viserys has already established himself as a nearly irredeemable twat , and he is still just a child. I understand Rhaella when she said he was "shaped by hands not her own", but I doubt she would ever muster the strength of will necessary to completely change her stance on disciplining her own child. He is likely a lost cause, unfortunate for her as that may be. As for Aegon, no ill will toward a child still that young and innocent, but the secrets behind the method of forging Valyrian Steel are too good to pass up. That is a critical resource that is needed for the future war against the Night King and the white walkers, and a reward unlikely to ever be granted again for such simple conditions by the system.

the important question is whether it's about killing them now during the war or throughout history because if it's only about what's happening now during the war then 4 if Aegon turns out to be an ungrateful prick like Viserys then 1 later and if not then 2

unknownxho

That’s an awful assumption to make. Considering in canon no one has stumbled upon these boons, I’m 99% sure these rewards are tied to quest completion.

unknownxho

There’s no saying that Wylis has to proclaim to the world that he killed all the male Targaryens. If he completes the objective he gets the reward, right? Shouldn’t be too hard to off two kids without others knowing, especially with his skill set.

There is nothing that say's there are no instructions for making Valyrian steel in some ancient Dragon Lord's vault with an egg and Valyrian steel sword's.

Option 4. From political point of view, let his children marry Elia's or Rhaella's children for the iron thrones legitimacy option, from the point of sleeping with the women, no sane women sleeps with a man who kills her children, sooner or later the truth is revealed, not to mention if the MC can live with himself with killing children.

If there is even one male Targaryen left, they will dream of taking power and seeking revenge, so they must all be killed and the women taken for themselves.

How many chapters will this story be? Also ttfc love the direction and plot of the story

4 obv. Mercy is the domain of the strong. And besides, isn't it hypocritical to want an army of babes of your own while also staining your hands with the blood of others'.

Zack

Book-wise, Viserys really only became an arse after he started abusing drugs. He had a little pouch in his sleeve that he used to sniff

Zack

4: A Tyrant doesn't fear children. If they mess up as adults, he can always have Magnus show them what's up. Besides, he isn't on Robert's side considering her married Lyanna. I'd much rather he kept a good relationship with Elia and Rhaella whilst letting their children live

4 no real reason for him to kill them he's already said he doesn't particularly want to be king aegon has done nothing and viserys other then being a little shit and having a terrible example to follow hasn't done anything to deserve death And even if they do rise up in the future that just means more rewards fame and quests in the future

4 fix Viserys

Amithyst Stonewall

1 Kill em both but indirectly as said. I don't think any male Targs should survive but Wilys doesn't seem like a baby killer to me. So he is responsible but his hands are technically clean of the deed, even if it isn't his intention. Also, Cersei having his son as the prince Joffrey here would be both hilarious and also possibly keep the parentage question at bay if the kid is big and has blue eyes as those things with both him and Robert share. Then the freaking future king would be loyal to him, lol.

Jacob Weiss

2 the little shit is no dragon nor prince just a future obstacle. One whom will grab power at all cost due to his entitlement. Aegon perhaps can be a future hero to the realm.

MythicalMarauder

4 bc we all know how Robert acts and it’s best to raise the targaryens since starks are on his side plus dorne if you keep Aegon and Elia alive.

4! Please 🥺! No killing children please and our MC could also become the boys dad by taking their mothers as his lovers/wives!

James Deshano

4 but fix viserys

Kryn_Womble

2, fuck that little bastard Viserys, get him outta here but up to you on what happens with Aegon. Could have Wylis take Elia and her kids into the family after the Rebellion and Wylis becomes the father of his spoil of war’s children by adoption and by raising those kids to forsake their bloodline or value the love and teachings of the father that raised them rather than the father that sired them, the Tyrant’s Squire system could count them as pseudo-bastards or trueborn adjacent. That way could maybe satisfy the conditions for Bloodline Terminator.

4. Viserys needs to have his princely attribute removed, but I'm sure with different life experiences and proper child rearing, he could be a decent guy. He's only 6 at this point in the story, or soon to be 7. Aegon is literally a baby and was a toddler when he died so who knows how he would have turned out. I propose that from what we have seen of this system so far, there are multiple interpretations of how a Tyrant can achieve his goals. Sure bloodline extinction of a rival is one, but I say that raising the children of your enemies into fine people is it's own sort of ego death. By raising Viserys as a proper lad and maybe a vassal, the one that would have molten gold poured on him and die in a tent is dead and a new man will have taken his place. Same goes for Aegon. So while not succeeding the quest, Wylis may earn a different reward if the system recognizes that way of achieving victory. Plus Aegon is killed by Gregor in canon, so keeping him alive is another fuck you to The Mountain, which I will always support. 🐸👨‍🍼

Anyway to neuter Aegon so he can't have kids? that would end the bloodline from him as well. Could do the same to Viserys.

Deon Bland

I really love this story. Please keep it going.I can't wait to read more.

OrganicMeat(2.0)

1 fuck them kids.

FalconAGaming

Honestly, I normally wouldn't choose 1 at all, but you put Valyrian Steel creation under it, so I might have chosen it. Luckily, the guy above gave another option, specifically, the option to figure out Valyrian Steel via another quest. So, I hope you do that, and I choose Option 4.

Ádám Márton

Nah, choice 1 but i really hate the targs

Para

Just side note, when Wylis is assigning Magnus's point he's called Marshall. Wylis has his moments of asshole behaviour and he's done a couple things that are morally dubious. Cucking people and slaying the brother of a lady (now potential future mother of his child/ren) he has some degree of care for among them. That said I don't think there's a world where the guy is going to run around killing kids at a quest prompt, let alone when I'm fairly sure valyrian forging is a skill he can barter years for, so I'm glad you've stated that's not going to be a thing. He might however deal with them at a later date if they were to place themselves against him or become evil little shits that just generally need dealing with. Just to throw out another option for later down the line. Personally I'm leaning more towards keeping them both alive (I think exploring a Viserys in this setting could be interesting and keeping both Elia's children alive in tandem with that provides more possible contenders for the throne later down the line, another entry point into Dorne and a general shifting away from canon that can occur as they grow). Thanks for the chapter, great stuff as usual.

darth_potato

I like your way of thinking

Robert Brown

A mix of two and one..... have them all die but make aegons death a unavoidable tragedy in q way that may take time before he actually dies. But viserys and the rest can be gutted on the spot

Loki's Brand

Well, there was no time limit set by the Bloodline Terminator quest, so I'd vote for a mix of option 1 and option 4. Leave Viserys and Aegon alive just long enough for them to grow up and rise in rebellion, then cut them down when they're grown men who've done something to deserve it. That gives Wylis the benefit of looking merciful and honorable (not to mention scoring points with Rhaella), while still eventually completing the quest. Because it's basically inevitable that they WILL rebel. Dorne will want to put Aegon on the Throne, and Viserys is still likely to grow up bitter and angry about his lot in life, even if it's not as bad as the "beggar-prince" of canon.

Calvin Ellis

2 but tell the Dornian that he is not handing over the child, he will let them see him once, then he will take him to a place where they cannot find him (he will kill him)

MrPlotThickens

Dawn is left underground. Wylis can get it later. Holding it rn would make him prime suspect of killing Arthur. And he doesn't want that because Ashara 💦

Cinema Man

"It used to be a thing back in the days before the Aegon's conquest when local kings existed" Hah way longer bud going back to before the Andals migrated 5000+ years, dammit Thickens where is Dawn why the fuck would a Tyrant leave free executive loot?, and yeah option 1 normally I wouldn't choose this but Doran Martell is a retard plus factoring in Wylis is going to be killing a lot of Royalist lords/heirs not giving them Targaryen's to rally behind is better nobody is going to fight for a woman unless she has dragons (they will actually be fighting for her husband).

Unseen Gaming

Choice 1 or 4. Gotta pick a lane.

MrPlotThickens

Yeah, possible. He could buy all the body immunity needed to walk through all of Valyria without being affected.

Abel mi

I think if wylis wants to have Elia and rhaella as lovers, it would be best to keep vizzy and egg alive. He can always keep them in custody or something. It's implied that Viserys could have been a decent man if it weren't for the circumstances he had. And egg, he's a baby I can't support his death. He can always get that ability another way, maybe by going to the smiths of Qohor and doing a quest in the future. (He can go to valiria and get a book or something like that).
