The use of it by Dr Dre for "Let Me Ride" and by Eric B and Rakim for "In the Ghetto" are especially interesting because it becomes a transplanted rhythm bed for completely different source melodies (Dre using Mothership Connection from Parliament & the other using that 24k Black song). Each use functions like a DJ blend!
