Probably because it’s hard enough to find an emergency foster family for a baby. I do agree , she shouldn’t have been able to get the baby BUT like I said I’m assuming when heard “ family member” they took it.

I agree. She should have listened to the courts but I don’t feel like she should be penalized. She was a sick old lady and couldn’t care for a baby on her own so I don’t even know why the courts gave her custody in the first place.

She was also influenced by her nieces council to take the child I'm sure for this reason. They also should play apart in the guilt of this baby's death.
